العاصفة كريستين تودي بحياة 81 شخصا في الفلبين

أعلن مكتب الدفاع المدني في الفلبين ، اليوم السبت ، عن مصرع81 شخصًا جراء العاصفة الإستوائية الشديدة (كريستين).
جاء ذلك وفق موقع (جي إم إيه) الفلبيني خلال مؤتمر صحفي عقده المدير العام لمكتب الدفاع المدني ونائب وزير الدفاع أرييل نيبوموسينو في كويزون سيتي.
وقال نيبوموسينو "إن عدد الضحايا المبلغ عنهم لا يزال قيد التحقق والتأكيد"، مشيرا إلى أن العدد الأكبر من الضحايا كان في منطقة كالابارزون بنحو 48 حالة، تليها منطقة بيكول 28 حالة.
وكشف نيبوموسينو أيضًا عن إصابة 66 شخصًا وفقدان 34 آخرين، مضيفا " أن 4 ملايين و 472 ألف شخص (حوالي مليون و 62 ألف عائلة) تأثرت بشكل كبير بالظاهرة الجوية".
وفيما يتعلق بالأضرار في البنية التحتية، أفاد المجلس الوطني للحد من مخاطر الكوارث وإدارتها بأن تكلفة الأضرار تقدر بنحو 3 ملايين و 480 ألف دولار أمريكي، كما تضرر ما مجموعه 8432 منزلا، منها 7506 منازل تضررت جزئيا و926 منزلا تضررت كليا.
يُشار إلى أن العاصفة كريستين غادرت الأراضي الفلبينية، أمس الجمعة، إلا أن آثارها لا تزال تطال أجزاء من البلاد.
