Apple تتوسع في ميزة المساعدة على الطريق عبر الأقمار الصناعية بالمملكة المتحدة

تواصل Apple توسيع ميزة المساعدة على الطريق عبر الأقمار الصناعية لتشمل المملكة المتحدة، مما يسمح لمستخدمي آيفون في البلاد بطلب المساعدة، في حال تعطلوا في أماكن لا تغطيها الشبكات الخلوية.
وبحسب "phonearena" تم تقديم هذه الميزة لأول مرة في سبتمبر من العام الماضي، وتوفر للمستخدمين وسيلة لطلب المساعدة حتى وإن لم يتمكنوا من الاتصال بأبراج الشبكة أو كانوا في مناطق نائية أثناء حدوث مشكلة مع السيارة.
وبدأت Apple الآن توسيع الخدمة لتشمل المملكة المتحدة، بالتعاون مع شريكها المحلي Green Flag.
ولتفعيل الميزة، يحتاج المستخدمون إلى امتلاك جهاز آيفون 14 أو إصدار أحدث، وأن يتواجدوا في منطقة خالية من تغطية الهاتف المحمول أو الـ واي فاي.
ويمكن الوصول إلى المساعدة على الطريق عبر الأقمار الصناعية من قسم البيانات المحمولة في مركز التحكم على جهاز آيفون، أو من خلال الإعدادات تحت قسم الأقمار الصناعية.
وعند تفعيل الخدمة، سيعرض للمستخدمين تعليمات كيفية الاتصال بالقمر الصناعي، تليها استبيان يطلب منهم تحديد المشكلة مثل عدم القدرة على فتح السيارة أو عدم تشغيلها.
كما يتم إرسال تفاصيل مثل الموقع الجغرافي لجهاز آيفون إلى الشركة المساعدة.
وفي المملكة المتحدة، يحتاج المستخدمون إلى تحديث جهازهم إلى iOS 17 أو إصدار أحدث لاستخدام هذه الميزة.
وتستمر المساعدة المجانية لمدة عامين بعد تفعيل جهاز آيفون، مع العلم أنه سيكون على المستخدم دفع أي رسوم لخدمات Green Flag المتعلقة بالسيارة.
