عقب حديث أمريكي عن انهاء حرب غزة بعد اغتيال السنوار.. بلينكن يهاتف وزير الخارجية السعودي

السعودية – أعلنت وزارة الخارجية السعودية امس الخميس تلقي وزير الخارجية السعودي الأمير فيصل بن فرحان اتصالا هاتفيا من نظيره الأمريكي أنتوني بلينكن.
وأوضحت الوزارة في بيان مقتضب أنه جرى خلال الاتصال مناقشة المستجدات في المنطقة والجهود المبذولة بشأنها.
ولم تكشف الخارجية السعودية تفاصيل الاتصال.
من جهته ذكر المتحدث باسم الخارجية الأمريكية ماثيو ميلر أن بلينكن أجرى اتصالات مع نظرائه بالمنطقة لبحث إنهاء الحرب.
وأضاف أنه يجب إطلاق سراح المحتجزين بقطاع غزة وتنفيذ مسار يضمن إنهاء الحرب في غزة.
وصرح بأن الولايات المتحدة ترى فرصة حقيقية للتقدم في مفاوضات وقف إطلاق النار في غزة بعد التطورات الأخيرة.
وأعلنت إسرائيل الخميس مقتل زعيم حركة الفصائل الفلسطينية يحيى السنوار خلال اشتباكات في مدينة رفح، مشيرة إلى أن العملية لم تكن تستهدفه ولكن القوات اكتشفت مقتله “مصادفة”.
