تمديد فترة المنافسة على رخص الاستكشاف التعديني لأول أحزمة متمعدنة في المملكة

أعلنت وزارة الصناعة والثروة المعدنية، تمديد مواعيد تلقي طلبات التأهيل المسبق من الشركات المحلية والدولية للمنافسة على رخص الاستكشاف لأول أحزمة متمعدنة في المملكة، التي تغطي مساحتها 4,788 كيلومترًا مربعًا.
ويأتي ذلك استجابة لرغبة العديد من الشركات في الحصول على مهلة زمنية لتقديم طلباتها، ومنح المستثمرين كافة فرصة أكبر للمشاركة في المنافسة.
وحددت الوزارة الفترة من 7 إلى 31 أكتوبر الجاري كموعد نهائي للتقديم، وتشمل الأحزمة المتمعدنة المطروحة للمنافسة ثلاث مناطق لرخص الكشف في حزام جبل صائد، تغطي مساحة 2,892 كيلومترًا مربعًا، وتضم مجموعة من معادن الأساس والمعادن الثمينة التي تشمل معادن النحاس والزنك والرصاص والذهب والفضة؛ بالإضافة إلى منطقتين لرخص الكشف في موقع الحجار الواقع في حزام وادي شواص على مساحة 1,896 كيلومترًا مربعًا، حيث يزخر بمجموعة متنوعة من المعادن الثمينة ومعادن الأساس تتضمّن معادن النحاس والزنك والذهب والفضة.
وأوضحت أن عملية المنافسة على الرخص المطروحة ستحقق أعلى معايير الشفافية والحوكمة عبر عدة مراحل، تبدأ بالتأهيل المسبق، ثم مرحلة تقديم مذكرة المعلومات، والدعوة لتقديم العروض وبرامج العمل الفنية للاستكشاف التعديني، وخطط الأثر الاجتماعي والبيئي، وذلك في الفترة من 14 نوفمبر إلى 21 ديسمبر 2024، وأخيرًا مرحلة إعلان الفائزين برخص الكشف في 14 يناير 2025.
وبينت أن هذا التمديد يأتي في إطار سعي الوزارة لجذب المزيد من الاستثمارات، وتعزيز التنافسية في قطاع التعدين، حيث تم توفير جميع البيانات الجيولوجية الفنية المتعلقة بالأحزمة المستهدفة على منصة “تعدين” الإلكترونية؛ لضمان تكافؤ الفرص بين جميع المتنافسين، متطلّعة إلى أن تسهم تلك الخطوة في زيادة الإنفاق على الاستكشاف التعديني في المملكة، وتغذية قاعدة البيانات الجيولوجية الوطنية بالمعلومات الفنية، وخلق فرص عمل جديدة، وتعزيز النمو الاقتصادي المستدام، إضافة إلى تأكيدها على التزام المملكة بتطوير قطاع التعدين وفقًا لأعلى المعايير العالمية، بما في ذلك الاستدامة البيئية والمسؤولية الاجتماعية.

يذكر أن وزارة الصناعة والثروة المعدنية، أعلنت في شهر يوليو الماضي إطلاق المنافسة على أول أحزمة متمعدنة في المملكة، أمام شركات الاستكشاف التعديني المحلية والدولية، ضمن جهودها لتسريع وتيرة استكشاف واستغلال الثروات المعدنية في المملكة؛ المقدّرة قيمتها بنحو 9.3 تريليونات ريال.

وأهابت الوزارة بجميع مستخدمي الطرق الالتزام بقواعد السير لتحقيق متطلبات المحافظة على السلامة المرورية، مؤكدة أنه يمكن الاستفادة من تخفيض قيمة الغرامات بنسبة (50%)، بمبادرة مرتكب المخالفة بسداد جميع المخالفات المرورية المتراكمة عليه حتى تاريخ 18 / 4 / 2025م، سواء كان بسداد الغرامات دفعة واحدة أو بسداد غرامة كل مخالفة على حدة، وعدم ارتكاب المخالفات التي تعرّض السلامة العامة للخطر.
