واستعرضت اللجنة عددًا من الموضوعات المدرجة على جدول الأعمال، شملت مستجدات المخطط الشامل لمحافظة البيضاء، والمركز اللوجستي الإقليمي، ونموذج النقل المروري الإقليمي، وعرض عن منصة البيانات الحضرية (سرد)، واستعراض انضمام مدينة الخبر الذكية ضمن أفضل 100 مدينة حول العالم، وحالة التنمية بحاضرة الدمام في ضوء إطار الرصد الحضري العالمي (UMF).
بدوره ثمن الرئيس التنفيذي لهيئة تطوير الشرقية المهندس عمر بن صالح العبداللطيف الدعم الكبير والمتابعة الحثيثة الذي تحظى به هيئة تطوير المنطقة الشرقية، من سمو أمير المنطقة الشرقية رئيس مجلس هيئة تطوير المنطقة وسمو نائبه , مشيراً أن الهيئة تعمل على التخطيط الاستراتيجي والتنمية المستدامة للمنطقة الشرقية، واستغلال ميزها النسبية، وذلك بالتعاون والتكامل مع كافة الجهات المعنية في المنطقة من أجل رفع جودة حياة السكان ورسم مستقبل مشرق للمنطقة”.
وافاد العبداللطيف بأن الهيئة تسعى لتطوير ووضع أُطر للعديد من المشاريع الحيوية التي من شأنها تعزيز البنية التحتية والخدمات العامة في المنطقة، ورسم مستقبل أفضل للمنطقة الشرقية ومن بين هذه المشاريع، المخطط الهيكلي لمحافظة البيضاء، والمركز اللوجستي الإقليمي، ونموذج النقل المروري الإقليمي.
وأكّد أهمية الشراكة والتعاون مع كافة الجهات الحكومية والقطاع الخاص لتحقيق أهداف الهيئة في تنفيذ المشاريع بكفاءة وجودة عالية .

اطلقت الهيئة العامة للنقل بالشراكة مع الجهات ذات العلاقة، برنامج دخول الشاحنات للمدن خلال أوقات المنع في المنطقة الشرقية، ابتداءً من اليوم الأحد 17 شعبان 1446 هـ الموافق 16 فبراير 2025م .
وأشارت الهيئة إلى أن دخول الشاحنات للمنطقة الشرقية خلال أوقات المنع سيكون من خلال حجز مواعيد إلكترونية وبأوقات محددة ومجدولة، عدا الشاحنات المستثناة من الجهات المعنية والمصرح لها بالدخول خلال أوقات المنع، ويأتي ذلك للإسهام في رفع كفاءة الخدمات اللوجستية، وتنظيم تدفق الشاحنات وتخفيف تكدسها على مداخل المدينة ورفع مستوى جودة وكفاءة النقل، وبما يسهم في تعزيز مكانة المملكة كمركز لوجستي عالمي.
أخبار متعلقة أمير الشرقية يبحث الاهتمامات المشتركة مع سفير إيطاليا لدى المملكةأمير الشرقية يرعى اللقاء السنوي لجمعية أصدقاء المرضىوأشارت الهيئة إلى أن هذه الخدمة ستمكّن الناقلين العاملين في نشاط نقل البضائع على الطرق البرية من التنقل الصحيح في أوقات المنع والذروة والازدحام المروري للطرق الرئيسة بالمنطقة الشرقية، بما يسهم في تقليل فترات الانتظار الطويلة لسائقي هذه الشاحنات، وكذلك تطوير الجوانب التشغيلية، والتخفيف والتيسير على الشركات ومنشآت القطاع الخاص العاملة والمستثمرة في نشاط نقل البضائع، وتقليل التكاليف، كما ستساعد هذه الخدمة في رفع كفاءة وجودة الخدمات التشغيلية للحركة اللوجستية، وتوفير التقارير اللازمة وتحليل البيانات لدعم عملية اتخاذ القرار وتطوير القطاع، والعمل على تحقيق النمو الاقتصادي المستهدف وتقليل الخسائر المالية للناقلين.
وأوضحت الهيئة العامة للنقل أن خدمة حجز مواعيد دخول الشاحنات للمدن ستتيح المزيد من التكامل والعمل بشكل أفضل في عمليات إدارة وتنظيم تنقل جميع الشاحنات في المملكة والاستفادة من البيانات والمعلومات لتطوير نشاط نقل البضائع.
