بيان مشترك صادر عن مجموعة "متحالفون من أجل إنقاذ الأرواح والسلام في السودان"

عقدت مجموعة "متحالفون من أجل إنقاذ الأرواح والسلام في السودان" اجتماعًا افتراضيًا أسبوعيًا يوم الجمعة الماضية الموافق 10 أكتوبر 2024م، وذلك لمناقشة تصعيد الصراع وتدهور الوضع الإنساني في السودان.
وصدر عن المجموعة بيان مشترك تحث من خلاله القوات المسلحة السودانية وقوات الدعم السريع على تحسين وتعزيز الوصول الإنساني إلى جميع أنحاء السودان ومعالجة مسألة حماية المدنيين، معبرةً عن تفاؤلها بزيارة الاتحاد الأفريقي إلى بورتسودان، وترقبها لمتابعة الالتزامات التي تم التعهد بها خلال هذه الزيارة.

وشددت المجموعة على وجوب اتخاذ القوات المسلحة السودانية وقوات الدعم السريع خطوات لضمان سلامة وحماية العاملين في المجال والمنظمات الصحة والإنسانية المحليين في الخطوط الأمامية، مع مطالبتهم بخفض الصراع والتصعيد، وتسهيل وقف الأعمال العدائية، بما يمكّن حرية الحركة، بما في ذلك الحركة عبر الخطوط لجميع العاملين في المجال الإنساني والاستجابة الأولية.
وأشاد أعضاء المجموعة بالعمل الشجاع للمتطوعين المحليين وشبكات الاستجابة، منوهين بترشيح غرفة الاستجابة السودانية الطارئة في الخطوط الأمامية لجائزة نوبل للسلام والتي تعد إشارة مهمة في ضوء عملهم الحاسم.
