أعلنت شركة وسام الطب القابضة، وهي شركة استثمارية سعودية متخصصة في القطاع الصحي، عن عزمها توقيع مذكرة تفاهم استراتيجية مع مجموعة مكلارين الأمريكية للرعاية الصحية، وهي من أكبر شبكات الرعاية الصحية في ولاية ميشيغان والمشغلة لمعهد كارمانوس للأورام، وذلك بهدف إنشاء مستشفى متخصص في أمراض الدم والأورام بمدينة الرياض، حيث سيتم التوقيع على هامش أعمال"ملتقى الصحة العالمي 2025"، الذي سينطلق خلال الفترة من 27 إلى 30 أكتوبر 2025، بالرياض، وسط مشاركات على كافة المستويات محليا وإقليميا ودوليا.

وتدير شركة وسام الطب القابضة، المملوكة للمجموعة، مركز أمراض الدم والأورام في مدينة الرياض، وهو مركز يقدم خدمات متعددة ومتكاملة لمرضى الدم والأورام عبر نخبة من الاستشاريين السعوديين وطواقم العمل الطبية ذات الكفاءة العالية، وتشمل خدمات المركز الفحوصات السريرية والمخبرية المتقدمة، بالإضافة للأشعة، كما تمتد إلى العلاج الكيماوي، والمركز الآن بصدد بدء تقديم خدمات العلاج الإشعاعي وجراحة اليوم الواحد، وخلال السنوات الثلاث الماضية زار المركز أكثر من 60 ألف مريض، منهم 15 ألف لتلقي العلاج.
وتهدف هذه الشراكة إلى تعزيز التعاون بين الطرفين في مجالات الطب التخصصي والبحث العلمي، وتحقيق عدة أهداف، تتمثل في مواكبة الطلب المتزايد على خدمات الأورام المتخصصة في القطاع الخاص، وتخفيف العبء عن المستشفيات المرجعية الحكومية، والاستفادة من الخبرة الإكلينيكية، والتشغيلية لمجموعة مكلارين ومعهد كارمانوس في تطوير الأبحاث والعلاجات المتقدمة، ورفع كفاءة الكوادر الوطنية عبر برامج تدريبية وتطوير مهني مشتركة للأطباء والتمريض والإداريين السعوديين، بالإضافة إلى نقل المعرفة والتقنيات الأمريكية إلى المملكة، بما يضمن تقديم رعاية علاجية وتشخيصية وفقًا لأعلى المعايير العالمية.
