مستشفى الدكتور سليمان الحبيب بالخبر يُنهي معاناة مسن "كويتي" مع الشلل الجزئي بالأطراف العلوية والسفلية

تمكن مستشفى الدكتور سليمان الحبيب بالخبر، من إنهاء معاناة مراجع "كويتي" في العقد الثامن من العمر، عانى على مدار سنوات من الشلل الجزئي، والتنميل في كامل الأطراف العلوية والسفلية، إذ نجح الفريق الطبي المعالج بقيادة الدكتور حسام الحبيب استشاري جراحة العمود الفقري، الحاصل على الزمالة الكندية، في إجراء عملية معقدة استمرت 3 ساعات، تمكن خلالها من إزالة الضغط الشديد الواقع على الحبل الشوكي وفقرات العمود الفقري.

وقال الدكتور حسام أن المراجع وصل المستشفى، يشكو من ضُعف شديد في اليدين والساقين وحاجته الدائمة لمساعدة الأهل في أداء مهامه اليومية، وإعتماده بصورة أساسية على استخدام الكرسي المتحرك، مفيداً بأنه تم إخضاعه للفحص السريري والأشعة المقطعية (C.T Scan) والرنين المغناطيسي (M.R.I)، بالإضافة إلى التحاليل المخبرية، وقد أظهرت النتائج بدقة عالية وجود ضغط شديد على الحبل الشوكي في الفقرات العنقية (الثالثة،الرابعة،الخامسة،السادسة والسابعة) بالعمود الفقري، وهو الأمر الذي يفسر كافة الأعراض التي عانى منها طوال 3 سنوات الماضية، كما أن المراجع مصاب بضغط الدم المرتفع ومرض السكري.
