يجسد إعلان ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة الملكية لمدينة الرياض الأمير محمد بن سلمان اليوم الخميس إطلاق «مؤسسة الرياض غير الربحية»، وتشكيل مجلس إدارتها، التي صدر الأمر الملكي الكريم بتأسيسها، وأن تكون مؤسسة مستقلة ذات طبيعة خاصة، تحت مظلة الهيئة الملكية لمدينة الرياض، تعزيز النمو الشامل والتنمية المستدامة في مدينة الرياض، وتعزيز قدراتها في مجالات الاقتصاد والثقافة والتعليم والعلوم والتكنولوجيا والفنون والرياضة، كما تسعى المؤسسة لتعزيز التعاون مع القطاعات الحكومية والخاصة والمجتمع المدني، وتنفيذ مشاريع وبرامج تعزز الابتكار وتسهم في تعزيز جودة الحياة ورفاهية المجتمع.
وتسعى المؤسسة إلى تصميم وتنفيذ برامج تنموية تدعم أهدافها في تحقيق التنمية الاجتماعية، والمساهمة في تنمية برامج القطاع غير الربحي في المجالات ذات الصلة وأنشطة الجهات التابعة لها.
وتؤمن المؤسسة بأهمية البحث والتطوير وتسعى لتشجيع البحوث والدراسات في مجالات التنمية الاجتماعية والقطاع غير الربحي من خلال مركز الأبحاث وتطوير برامجها الاجتماعية وتحسينها بناء على النتائج والمعرفة التي تسعى لتوفير بيئة مواتية للابتكار والإبداع والتجربة من خلال حاضنات ومسرعات الريادة المجتمعية والاستفادة من التقنيات والممارسات الحديثة في إدارة الأصول الاجتماعية.
