أعلن صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبد العزيز آل سعود، ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء، ورئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة الملكية لمدينة الرياض - حفظه الله، - إطلاق “مؤسسة الرياض غير الربحية"، وتشكيل مجلس إدارتها.
وكان صدر الأمر الملكي الكريم بتأسيسها، وأن تكون مؤسسة مستقلة ذات طبيعة خاصة، تحت مظلة الهيئة الملكية لمدينة الرياض.
