ولي العهد يُعلن إطلاق "مؤسسة الرياض غير الربحية" وتشكيل مجلس إدارتها.
وأصدر مجلس إدارة الهيئة الملكية لمدينة الرياض، قراراً بتشكيل مجلس إدارة المؤسسة برئاسة سمو ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء، ورئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة الملكية لمدينة الرياض - وتعيين الرئيس التنفيذي للهيئة الملكية لمدينة الرياض المهندس إبراهيم السلطان نائباً للرئيس وأميناً عاماً للمجلس، وبعضوية كل من: - صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير عبدالعزيز بن تركي بن فيصل وزير الرياضة - صاحب السمو الأمير بدر بن عبد الله بن فرحان وزير الثقافة، - صاحب السمو الأمير فيصل بن عبد العزيز بن عياف أمين منطقة الرياض - وزير المالية الأستاذ محمد الجدعان - وزير الموارد البشرية والتنمية الاجتماعية المهندس أحمد الراجحي - وزير السياحة الأستاذ أحمد الخطيب - وزير الصحة الأستاذ فهد الجلاجل - وزير التعليم الأستاذ يوسف البنيان - المستشار بالأمانة العامة لمجلس الوزراء الأستاذ فهد الرشيد.
