بريطانيا.. دمية مرعبة لتوعية الأطفال بالتغير المناخي تثير الجدل

لجأت مدينة بريطانية إلى توعية أطفالها بقضية التغير المناخي من خلال دمية عملاقة مخيفة شبيهة بالدمية "تشاكي"، ما أثار غضباً واسعاً بين عدد كبير من أولياء الأمور، وصفوا الدمية بأنها "كابوس على أرض الواقع" ولا تناسب الأطفال.
وبحسب صحيفة إندبندنت البريطانية، وصلت الدمية البالغ طولها 8.5 متراً إلى وسط المدينة روتشديل، كجزء من مشروع لتشجيع الأطفال على التحدث عن تغير المناخ
ورحّب مجلس المدينة بالدمية "ليلي"، من خلال منشور عبر حسابه الرسمي على منصة إكس، أول أمس الثلاثاء، مشيراً إلى أنها ستكون ضيفاً خاصاً خلال مهرجان الفنون البيئية "وايلد واندرز"، الذي سيقام من تنظيم المجلس في الهواء الطلق خلال الشهر المقبل.
كما دعا المجلس تلاميذ المدارس المحلية للحضور ومقابلتها هذا الأسبوع، من أجل "معرفة رأيهم في مستقبل بيئتنا"، كما جاء في منشور المجلس.

— Rochdale Borough Council (@RochdaleCouncil) September 24, 2024 غضب السكان المحليينكان السكان المحليون "أقل حماساً بشكل ملحوظ" تجاه هذا الحدث، وعبّر أغلبهم عن امتعاضهم من لجوء المجلس لهذه الدمية المخيفة، من أجل توعية الأطفال بقضية عالمية مهمة.
وقال أحدهم: "هذا مرعب جداً"، بينما رد آخر بلهجة ساخرة: "تشبه تشاكي، وهي شخصية مرعبة من مسلسل تلفزيوني رعب أمريكي".
وتوقع أحد المعلقين أنها "ستسبّب الكوابيس للأطفال، فرد المجلس بالقول: "من حسن الحظ ليلي أنها دمية وإلا كانت ستستاء من هذا التعليق". ودافع المجلس عن الدمية مؤكداً أن "الأطفال أحبوها وكانت الاستجابة رائعة".
اتهام بهدر المال العامهاجم آخرون المجلس بشكل شرس، واعتبروا أنه "هدر للمال العام"، وتساءل أحدهم: "كم تكلفة هذه القمامة". وكتب آخر: "قطعة فنية رائعة. وفي الوقت نفسه، فإن معظم الأطفال لديهم بطون فارغة".
ودافع المجلس عن الدمية التي ستعرض في مهرجان "وايلد واندرز"، مشيراً إلى أنه تم تمويل تكلفة بنائها من قبل مجلس الفنون في إنجلترا والمؤسسة الخيرية المحلية "غارفيلد ويستون".
وأردف بالقول: "قامت مجموعات مدرسية بزيارة ساحة البلدة للتحدث مع الطفل حول أفكاره حول تغير المناخ، وخططه حول رعاية الطبيعة والحيوانات".

وأضاف المانع إن الهدف من خلال هذه الحملات هو تسليط الضوء على آخر المستجدَّات في مجالات الرعاية الصحية المختلفة، وتمكين المرضى والزوار من اتخاذ قراراتٍ صحيةٍ مدروسةٍ تؤثر بشكلٍ إيجابيٍّ على صحتهم وحياتهم اليومية، مؤكدًا أن مستشفيات المانع ستواصل تعزيز برامجها التثقيفية والوقائية في المستقبل؛ لتحسين مستوى الوعي الصحي في المجتمع، ودعم جهود مكافحة الأمراض.
وشملت الحملة فروع المستشفى بمختلف المناطق، ففي مستشفى المانع - فرع الخُبَر، تمَّ تقديم استشاراتٍ طبيةٍ حول التغذية والسكري وصحة المرأة، مع استقبال أكثر من 150 مريضًا، كما تمَّ تنظيم محاضراتٍ توعويةٍ في عيادات المانع - الراكة حول السكري، السمنة، الكلى، والصحة النفسية.
وفي مستشفى المانع - العزيزية بالدمام، تمَّ التركيز على مواضيع النساء والولادة، العلاج الطبيعي، مختبر النوم، وطب الأسنان، أما في مستشفى المانع - الجبيل، فقد شملت الحملة محاضراتٍ توعويةً عن السمنة، السكري، وأمراض الكلى، وفي مستشفى المانع - الأحساء، تمَّ تقديم محاضراتٍ حول السكري، السمنة، والتغذية، بالإضافة إلى تنظيم حملة تبرع بالدم، التي شهدت مشاركةً كبيرةً من المتبرعين، كذلك في مستشفى المانع بالدمام تضمَّنت الحملة محاضراتٍ توعويةً عن السمنة، السكري، والعلاج الطبيعي.
