رئيس وزراء الهند يعلن عقد اجتماع ثنائي مع الرئيس الأمريكي خلال زيارته للولايات المتحدة

أعلن رئيس الوزراء الهندي ناريندرا مودي، أنه سيعقد اجتماعا ثنائيا مع الرئيس الأمريكي جو بايدن خلال زيارته إلى الولايات المتحدة التي بدأها اليوم السبت، وتستمر لمدة ثلاثة أيام.
وعبر مودي - حسبما ذكرته قناة (إن دي تي في) الهندية الناطقة باللغة الإنجليزية - عن تطلعه للمشاركة في مباحثات قمة مجموعة "كواد" التي يستضيفها الرئيس بايدن في مدينة "ويلمنجتون" بولاية "ديلاوير" والتي تضم أيضا رئيس الوزراء الأسترالي أنتوني ألبانيزي، ورئيس الوزراء الياباني فوميو كيشيدا.
كما يشمل برنامج الزيارة حضور رئيس الوزراء الهندي "قمة المستقبل" في نيويورك، وهو حدث تستضيفه الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة على مدار يومي 22 و23 من سبتمبر الجاري.
وتهدف القمة إلى تعزيز عمل الأمم المتحدة عبر تبني وثائق مهمة، منها "ميثاق المستقبل" و"ميثاق رقمي عالمي" و"إعلان الأجيال المستقبلية"، وتهدف هذه "الوثائق التاريخية" إلى معالجة القضايا الراهنة مثل التحول الرقمي، والذكاء الاصطناعي، والسلام والأمن، وتمويل التنمية المستدامة، بما يعكس الأولويات العالمية ويؤسس لاستجابة جماعية للمشكلات المشتركة.
