أعربت وزارة الخارجية عن إدانة واستنكار المملكة العربية السعودية بأشد العبارات استهداف قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلية لمدرسة تؤوي نازحين فلسطينيين في قطاع غزة، مما أودى بحياة عدد من الأشخاص من بينهم ، موظفو وكالة غوث وتشغيل اللاجئين (الأونروا).
وأكدت المملكة ضرورة الوقف الفوري لإطلاق النار، وتوفير الحماية للمدنيين العزل، ووضع حد للكارثة الإنسانية غير المسبوقة التي يشهدها قطاع غزة نتيجة الانتهاكات الإسرائيلية للقوانين والأعراف الدولية.
وجددت المملكة رفضها التام لاستهداف المنشآت والمنظمات الإغاثية والعاملين فيها، مؤكدةً على المسؤولية الملقاة على عاتق المجتمع الدولي لتفعيل آليات المحاسبة الدولية، ووضع حد لهذه الانتهاكات الإسرائيلية المتواصلة للقانون الدولي والقانون الدولي الإنساني.
