قالت السلطات الفيتنامية اليوم الثلاثاء إن الانهيارات الأرضية والفيضانات الناجمة عن إعصار ياجي أودت بحياة ما لا يقل عن 65 شخصا وفقدان 39 آخرين، وذلك في ظل استمرار جهود التعافي والإغاثة.
اجتاح إعصار ياجي، أقوى إعصار يضرب فيتنام منذ نحو 30 عاما، شمال فيتنام السبت الماضي، حاملا رياحا قوية وأمطارا موسمية.

ولكن تداعيات الاعصار كانت أكثر شراسة، حيث وقعت عدة انهيارات أرضية في ظل استمرار هطول أمطار غزيرة، وفقا لما ذكرته هيئة إدارة الكوارث والسدود في فيتنام.
وسجل كل من إقليمي كاو بانج ولا كاي بشمال فيتنام 17 حالة وفاة بالإضافة إلى فقدان العشرات.

وفي كاو بانج، طمر انهيار أرضي حافلة تتألف من 16 مقعدا.
ومازال البحث جاريا عن المفقودين.
وفي إقليم فو ثو، على بعد ساعتين من شمال غرب هانوي، سقطت ما لا يقل عن ثلاث حافلات وسيارتان وعدد كبير من الدراجات في نهر " ريد" بعد انهيار جسر.
وفي شمال فيتنام، ألحق إعصار ياجي الضرر بأكثر من 46 ألف منزل.
كما تطايرت أسقف عدة متاجر ومباني ومدارس، في حين تم اقتلاع مئات الآلاف من الأشجار من جذورها في أنحاء الأقاليم الواقعة بشمال فيتنام.

وأدى الإعصار لنفوق نحو 700 ألف من الدواجن والماشية، كما غمرت المياه نحو 150 ألف هيكتار من حقول الأرز.
كما أدى الاعصار لغرق ما لا يقل عن 85 سفينة، وألحق الضرر بنحو 1600 من مصايد الاسماك.
وتواصل هطول الأمطار الغزيرة في العاصمة الفيتنامية.
ووصل مستوى نهر "ريد" لأعلى مستوى منذ 16عامًا، مما أدى لغمر المناطق القريبة بالمياه وإجبار نحو 500 أسرة على إخلاء منازلهم صباح اليوم الثلاثاء.
