مستشفيات المانع تحقق إنجازاً طبياً في علاج مضاعفات سرطان الثدي

أضافت مستشفيات المانع إنجازاً جديداً لسجلها الحافل في مجال الرعاية الصحية، وذلك بإجراء أول عملية جراحية لإعادة بناء الأوردة اللمفاوية في المملكة. وقد قام بإجراء هذه العملية فريق طبي متخصص بقيادة الدكتورة جميلة خالد الأزهري.
تعتبر الوذمة اللمفاوية، وهي تورم الذراع الناتج عن استئصال الغدد اللمفاوية المصابة بسرطان الثدي، من المضاعفات الشائعة التي تؤثر على نوعية حياة المرضى.

وقد تم تصميم هذه الجراحة الدقيقة والعصرية لمعالجة هذه المشكلة عن طريق إعادة توجيه تدفق السائل اللمفاوي، مما يقلل بشكل كبير من خطر الإصابة بالوذمة اللمفاوية أو تفاقمها.
