الإمارات تشارك في الاجتماع السنوي لمجلس محافظي بنك التنمية الجديد

شاركت دولة الإمارات، ممثلة بوزارة المالية، في الاجتماع السنوي التاسع لمجلس محافظي بنك التنمية الجديد لدول البريكس "NDB" الذي عقد اليوم الجمعة في مدينة كيب تاون بجنوب أفريقيا، تحت عنوان "الاستثمار في مستقبل مستدام".
ترأس وفد الإمارات المشارك بالاجتماع محمد بن هادي الحسيني، وزير دولة للشؤون المالية، بصفته محافظاً، وضمّ ثريا حامد الهاشمي، مديرة إدارة العلاقات والمنظمات المالية الدولية بوزارة المالية، وعضو مجلس إدارة بنك التنمية الجديد، ومدير المجموعة لكل من دولة الإمارات وجمهورية مصر العربية وجمهورية بنغلاديش الشعبية.
وتضمّن جدول أعمال الاجتماع، تنظيم عدد من الجلسات استعرضت النظم المالية المبتكرة للتنمية المستدامة وآفاق الاستثمار المستدام، إلى جانب عقد اجتماع للقادة وصناع القرار والمختصين في قطاع الأعمال، ناقشوا خلاله سبل تعزيز الاستثمار من أجل مستقبل مستدام.
وأكد محمد بن هادي الحسيني، في الكلمة الافتتاحية لدولة الإمارات التي ألقاها خلال الاجتماع، أهمية دور بنك التنمية الجديد في تعزيز التنمية المستدامة ومشاريع البنية التحتية في جميع الدول الأعضاء، وضرورة مواصلة بنك التنمية الجديد جهوده على صعيد تطوير أسواق رأس المال المحلية وتعزيز مشاركة القطاع الخاص، إضافةً إلى أهمية التعاون مع بنوك التنمية متعددة الأطراف.
وجرى خلال الاجتماع تسليط الضوء على أهمية تسريع الاستثمار العالمي المستدام واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لضمان مستقبل مستدام، إلى جانب التأكيد على ضرورة الالتزام بتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة واتفاقية باريس لعام 2015 بشأن تغير المناخ، إضافةً إلى التركيز على تمويل مشاريع التنمية المستدامة وتبادل أفضل الممارسات.
