وقدم الرئيس التنفيذي للمركز الوطني للرقابة على الالتزام البيئي المهندس علي الغامدي عرضًا لسمو أمير المنطقة الشرقية حول فرضية التمرين، تضمن تنفيذ الخطة الوطنية لمكافحة التلوث البحري بالزيت في المنطقة الشرقية، بمشاركة أكثر من 46 جهة حكومية وخاصة ذات صلة بالمجالات المعنية بهذا التمرين، ويقوم التمرين على افتراض وقوع حادث للناقلات أو السفن التجارية ينتج عنه تسرب محتمل لكميات كبيرة غير محددة من الزيت أو المواد الضارة.
وبيّن الغامدي أن التمرين يُنفذ انطلاقًا من ميناء الجبيل التجاري بإشراف المركز الوطني للرقابة على الالتزام البيئي، وبمشاركة نحو 46 جهة من مختلف القطاعات.
