”الثروة السمكية“: الارشاد السمكي يساهم في تعزيز الانتاج وزيادة الدخل

أوضح مدير عام المركز الوطني للثروة السمكية المهندس رياض بن حسين الفقيه، أن من أسس نجاح استزراع الأسماك هو اختيار الأنواع ذات سرعة النمو، حتى يتمكن المستثمر من حصاد إنتاجه وبيعه في الأسواق في أقصر فترة زمنية مما يقلل من التكلفة الكلية للمشروع الاستثماري، ولضمان عدم فقد المحصول من جراء أي إصابة فطرية أو بكتيرية أو طفيلية.

وأكد لـ"اليوم"، أن المركز يستهدف تنوع وتعدد الجهود الرامية إلى تنمية الإنتاج السمكي ورفع الكفاءة الإنتاجية لمزارعي وصائدي ومنتجي الأسماك عن طريق تثقيفهم وتوعيتهم بنتائج الأبحاث فى مجال الإنتاج السمكي، فالمركز الوطني للثروة السمكية يهدف إلى تطوير استدامة ونمو صناعة الاستزراع السمكي وتنفيذ البرامج البحثية على جميع الأنواع الملائمة للزراعة من الأسماك البحرية والربيان، وتوطين صناعات الاستزراع السمكي وتدريب الكوادر الوطنية.

وقال الفقيه نسعى مع جميع الجهات ذات العلاقة في القطاع على المحافظة على الثروة السمكية وإنمائها وتطويرها وحمايتها وضمان حسن استغلالها واستثمارها، وتحقيق التنمية الشاملة للجمهور من صائدى الأسماك من خلال تزويدهم بالمعارف والمهارات التى تمكنهم من العمل على حل المشكلات التى تواجههم.

وعدد ”الفقيه“ أهداف الإرشاد السمكي إلى أهداف تعليمية: يمكن تحقيقها على المدى القريب من خلال توعية مزارعى الأسماك وأسرهم وتثقيفهم وتزويدهم بالمعارف والمهارات التى تقابل احتياجاتهم واهتماماتهم.
وأهداف اقتصادية: يمكن تحقيقها على مدى أبعد نسبيا نتيجة للتغير الذى يحدث نتيجة لتحقيق الاهداف التعليمية مما يؤدى إلى زيادة الدخل عن طريق الاستخدام السليم للموارد الطبيعية والبشرية والمالية الامر الذى ينعكس على زيادة الانتاج مع تقليل التكاليف.
