قال استشاري جراحة المسالك البولية للأطفال، د. فهد اليامي، إن "التوت" يقلل من التهابات المسالك البولية.
وأضاف خلال مداخلة مع قناة «السعودية» أن التوت مرتبط علميا بالتقليل من التهابات البول وذلك من خلال دراسات علمية أجريت على بالغين.
وأشار اليامي إلى أن الفاعلية تكون بشكل أكبر لدى السيدات كبار السن، لأن النساء بشكل عام أكثر تعرضا لهذه الالتهابات.
