بفضل الله- أنقذ مستشفى الدكتور سليمان الحبيب بالخبر، طفلاً خديجاً عمره شهر، ولد "في 26 أسبوع" وهو مصاب بعدة أمراض باطنية، ويصاحبها نزيف حاد بالدماغ، سبب طيفاً واسعاً من الأعراض الحادة، ذكر ذلك د.عبدالرازق العوجان استشاري جراحة العمود الفقري والمخ والأعصاب رئيس الفريق الطبي المعالج.
الذي قال أن الطفل وُلد بحالة صحية معقدة، وغير مستقرة وبأعراض حادة كتوقف التنفس، وتغيرات في ضغط الدم وضربات القلب، وعدم القدرة على الرضاعة، اختلاجات وحركات غير منتظمة، وكِبَر بمحيط الرأس ونوبات فقدان وعي، وأخضع لعدة فحوصات أبرزها الأشعة الصوتية والرنين المغناطيسي، وأظهرت النتائج وجود نزيف حاد بالمخ مع توسع في بطينات الدماغ، وسبب ذلك ضغطاً حاداً على الأجزاء الداخلية، وتوسع محيط الرأس.

وأوضح د.العوجان الحاصل على زمالة جامعة أولسان الكورية ومركز آسان الطبي في جراحة المخ والأعصاب للأطفال، أن الإجراء الطبي مضى كما رسم له في الخطة العلاجية، وتكللت جهود الفريق الطبي بالنجاح التام بفضل الله، ونقل الطفل بحالة صحية مستقرة إلى العناية المركزة، تحت المراقبة الطبية اللصيقة مع تجاوز مرحلة الخطر بفضل الله، ولاحقاً أكدت المتابعة استقرار محيط الرأس، منبهاً إلى أن هذا التدخل الطبي يعد أحدث ما وصل إليه الطب في علاج مثل هذه الحالات، التي كانت تعالج في السابق بالطرق الجراحية التقليدية.
