إنهاء معاناة طفلة من أورام عضلية في مستشفى المواساة بالخبر

بحمد الله وتوفيقه، نجح الفريق الطبي في مستشفى المواساة بالخبر في إنهاء معاناة طفلة تبلغ من العمر عشر سنوات، وهي تعاني من ارتفاع مفاجئ في درجة الحرارة وألم في البطن، مع تاريخ مرضي يشمل الإصابة بالتصلب الحدبي ووجود أورام عضلية وعائية متعددة في الكلى.
كما أن لديها تاريخًا من التهابات متكررة وعدوى بكتيرية في إحدى هذه الأورام، مما أدى إلى الحاجة المتكررة للتنويم وتلقي المضادات الحيوية.

كما كشفت الأشعة المقطعية على البطن عن التهاب في أحد الأورام الوعائية الكبيرة في الكلى. قررت بعدها الدكتورة بدء العلاج بالمضادات الحيوية، وتم قد تشكيل فريق طبي ضم الدكتور أحمد النعمي، استشاري الأشعة التداخلية، والدكتور إحسان الفرج، استشارية أورام الأطفال، لمناقشة خطة العلاج وشرح جميع التفاصيل والخيارات لأسرة الطفلة. تم بعدها الاتفاق على إجراء تدخل بالأشعة التداخلية لإنصمام الورم، وقد تم هذا التدخل بنجاح على يد الدكتور أحمد النعمي. أعقب ذلك فترة نقاهة ومتابعة في العناية المركزة، مما أدى إلى تقلص الورم، كما تم التأكد من ذلك في المتابعة الدورية، وبالتالي انتهت معاناة الطفلة من تكرار الالتهابات والعدوى البكتيرية.
