أعربت وزارة الخارجية عن إشادة المملكة العربية السعودية بالإجراءات التي اتخذتها الجهات المختصة في سلطنة عُمان الشقيقة، وسرعة وكفاءة التعامل مع حادثة إطلاق النار بمنطقة الوادي الكبير في محافظة مسقط بسلطنة عُمان، التي أدت إلى استشهاد أحد رجال الشرطة ووفاة عدة أشخاص وإصابة آخرين. وأكدت المملكة تضامنها مع سلطنة عُمان الشقيقة، وعبرت عن صادق العزاء والمواساة لذوي الضحايا، وتمنياتها بالشفاء العاجل للمصابين.
