نجح الفريق الطبي في قسم جراحة العمود الفقري بمستشفى المواساة بالدمام وتحت إشراف الدكتور فادي فاروق استشاري جراحة العمود الفقري بإجراء عملية معقدة لإستعدال العمود الفقري لطفلة تبلغ من العمر 12 عاماً.

تم عمل التدخل الجراحي بتعديل الاعوجاج للعمود الفقري بنجاح.
وبفضل من الله و توفيقه تم خروج الطفلة من المستشفى بعد 3 أيام من العملية وهي في حالة مستقرة و استطاعت التعافي بشكل كامل وعادت لحياتها الطبيعية بعدما كانت لا تستطيع المشي و إزداد طولها نحو 8 سم .
