برئاسة سمو ولي العهد.. اعتماد تصاميم أطول برج رياضي في العالم بالرياض

أعلن مجلس إدارة مؤسسة المسار الرياضي برئاسة صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبد العزيز آل سعود، ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء - حفظه الله - اعتماد تصاميم البرج الرياضي، أحد أبرز معالم مشروع المسار الرياضي، على طريق الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز في مدينة الرياض.
ويعد البرج أطول برج رياضي في العالم، وأحد أبرز معالم مشروع المسار الرياضي، وسيلعب دورًا محوريًا في تحقيق مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030، بما في ذلك تحسين جودة الحياة في مدينة الرياض لتصبح واحدة من أكبر 10 اقتصاديات مدن في العالم.

ومن المقرر أن يصبح مشروع المسار الرياضي "أكبر متنزَّه طولي" في العالم بمسافة تتجاوز 135 كيلومترًا ضامًا مسارات آمنة ومشجرة للمشاة والدراجات الهوائية والخيل، إضافة إلى العديد من المرافق الرياضية المتنوعة، ويربط المشروع بين وادي حنيفة غرب مدينة الرياض ووادي السلي في شرقها، كما يتضمن أكثر من 4.4 ملايين متر مربع من المساحات الخضراء المفتوحة، ونحو 50 موقعًا للرياضات المتنوعة، ومعالم فنية مميزة، بالإضافة إلى عددٍ من المواقع والمناطق الاستثمارية تبلغ مساحتها الإجمالية أكثر من 3 ملايين متر مربع.
ويأتي البرج الرياضي كصرح شامخ ووجهة واعدة ليُصبح أول برجٍ رياضي من نوعه في العالم، حيث يسهم في تلبية أحد مستهدفات رؤية 2030، وذلك بإيجاد بيئة حضرية مُستدامة تدعم جودة الحياة لتشهد المملكة نهضة استثنائية في مختلف المجالات الرياضية وترتقي بطموحاتها وترسخ مكانتها الريادية على المستوى الدولي.
وسيكون البرج الرياضي أطول برج رياضي في العالم، حيث سيبلغ ارتفاعه 130 مترًا بمساحة 84,000 متر مربع يشمل أعلى جدار تسلق في العالم بارتفاع يصل إلى 98 مترًا، كما سيتوّج البرج بأعلى مضمار للجري في العالم بطول 250 مترًا، محتويًا مرافقَ رياضية استثنائية لممارسة أكثر من 30 نوعاً رياضياً في مرافق مصممة وفقاً لأفضل المعايير لتُسهم في تعزيز ثقافة الرياضة وتُلبي احتياجات جميع فئات الرياضيين والهواة ومرافق للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة.
كما يتميز البرج الرياضي بتصميمه المعماري الفريد مطبقاً لجماليات الكود العمراني للمسار الرياضي المستمد من مبادئ العمارة السلمانية المعتمِدة على الأصالة والحداثة معاً، ليُصبح صرحاً مميزاً على طريق الأمير محمد بن سلمان ومعلما بارزاً في مدينة الرياض.
ويهدف إلى تحقيق أهداف مشروع المسار الرياضي وتحسين جودة الحياة في مدينة الرياض من خلال تشجيع ممارسة الرياضة، وتمكين المجتمع من ممارسة نمط حياة صحي عبر توفير مرافق نوعية تُسهم في تعزيز ثقافة الرياضة لدى جميع أفراد المجتمع.
