وزير الخارجية يستقبل المديرة التنفيذية لمكتب الأمم المتحدة المعني بالمخدرات والجريمة

استقبل الدكتور بدر عبد العاطي وزير الخارجية والهجرة وشئون المصريين بالخارج، اليوم الأربعاء غادة والي المديرة التنفيذية لمكتب الأمم المتحدة المعني بالمخدرات والجريمة، بحضور السفير نبيل حبشي، نائب وزير الخارجية لشئون الهجرة، وذلك بمقر وزارة الخارجية.
وفى تصريح للسفير أحمد أبو زيد المُتحدث الرسمي ومدير إدارة الدبلوماسية العامة بوزارة الخارجية والهجرة، أشار إلى أن المديرة التنفيذية حرصت في مُستهل اللقاء علي تقديم التهنئة للسيد وزير الخارجية بمناسبة تولي سيادته المنصب، مثمنه التعاون القائم بين مصر والمنظمة الأممية خلال الفترة الماضية، ومشيرة الي اعتزام مكتب الأمم المتحدة المعنى بالمخدرات والجريمة الاستمرار في تقديم كافة سبل الدعم في المجالات ذات الأولوية بالنسبة لمصر، اتساقاً مع الوثيقة الخاصة "بالإطار الإقليمي للدول العربية ٢٠٢٣ – ٢٠٢٨"، والتي تمثل إطاراً استراتيجياً للتعاون بين المكتب وجامعة الدول العربية و١٨ دولة عربية، وتضع إطاراً للدعم الفني الذي يُقدمه المكتب لتلك الدول استجابة للتحديات الإقليمية في المنطقة.
وأوضح المُتحدث باسم الخارجية، أن الاجتماع تناول محاور التعاون القائمة بين مصر ومكتب الامم المتحدة المعنى بالمخدرات والجريمة، حيث استعرضت المسئولة الأممية أهم مجالات التعاون المشتركة القائمة، وعلى رأسها مكافحة المخدرات والاتجار في البشر وتهريب المهاجرين، بالإضافة الي مكافحة الفساد والجرائم المالية وتعزيز منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية، بما في ذلك المشروعات التي يتم تنفيذها مع وزارات العدل والداخلية والدفاع والصحة واللجنة الوطنية التنسيقية لمكافحة ومنع الهجرة غير الشرعية والاتجار في البشر. وقد حرص وزير الخارجية على الوقوف على أهم التطورات الخاصة بتنفيذ تلك المشروعات، مؤكداً على تقدير مصر البالغ للدور الهام التي يضطلع به المكتب في مصر، وحرص الدولة المصرية واهتمامها بتحقيق الاستفادة المُثلي من تلك المشروعات.
وأردف السفير أبو زيد، بأن د. بدر عبد العاطي وزير الخارجية أكد علي حرص مصر علي فتح آفاق جديدة للتعاون مع مكتب الأمم المتحدة المعنى بالمخدرات والجريمة في عدد من المجالات الهامة ذات الأولوية بالنسبة لمصر، وعلى رأسها مكافحة الارهاب، وذلك من خلال التركيز على محور بناء القدرات، ومكافحة الفكر المتطرف وعمليات التجنيد علي شبكة الانترنت، وتقديم الدعم في تطوير ووضع الاستراتيجيات الوطنية لمكافحة الإرهاب والتطرف العنيف.
في سياق متصل، اقترح الوزير عبد العاطى الاستفادة من التمويل الذي سيتم اتاحته تحت مظلة الشراكة المصرية الأوروبية الاستراتيجية الشاملة، بحيث يكون المكتب أحد الجهات الدولية المُنفذة للمحاور ذات الصلة في الشراكة. كما أعرب السيد وزير الخارجية عن اهتمام مصر بتدشين شراكات جديدة من خلال بحث إمكانية وسبل تعاون المكاتب الإقليمية للمنظمة في إفريقيا مع الوكالة المصرية للشراكة من أجل التنمية، مشددا ً في هذا السياق على اهتمام مصر باستقرار وأمن منطقة الساحل والصحراء ودعم جهود مكافحة الإرهاب في تلك المنطقة.
واختتم المُتحدث الرسمى تصريحاته بالإشارة الي أن لقاء الوزير عبد العاطي بالمسئولة الأممية تطرق كذلك الي الجهود الدولية المبذولة في مجال مكافحة استخدام تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات للأغراض الإجرامية، حيث حرصت السيدة غادة والي على إطلاع السيد الوزير على التطورات الجارية في إطار لجنة الخبراء الحكومية الدولية المُتخصصة مفتوحة العضوية ذات الصلة، مشيرة في هذا الصدد إلى أنه من المقرر أن يقوم مكتب الأمم المتحدة المعنى بالمخدرات والجريمة بمهمة السكرتارية الخاصة بمتابعة تنفيذ التزامات تلك الاتفاقية.
هذا وقد اتفق الطرفان على استمرار التشاور والتنسيق بشأن متابعة تنفيذ المشروعات المشتركة وفتح آفاق جديدة للتعاون بين مصر ومكتب الأمم المتحدة المعنى بمكافحة المخدرات والجريمة، فضلاً عن دعم الجهود الدولية في مجال مكافحة استخدام تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات لأغراض اجرامية.
