قالت أستاذ الصيدلة الإكلينيكية الدكتورة تهاني الميلبي، إن الحرارة العالية تؤثر على فعالية الأدوية، سواء في الشتاء أو الصيف، وبالتالي يجب تخزين الأدوية، وفقا للشروط المطلوبة، والتي في الغالب تكون ما بين درجة حرارة 20 إلى 25 درجة مئوية.
وأضافت خلال مداخلة هاتفية عبر العربي «FM»، أنه يجب أيضا إبعاد الأدوية عن المناطق القريبة من النوافذ، مؤكدة على تجنب تناول الأدوية منتهية الصلاحية لتفادي الأعراض الجانبية، وبمجرد فتح العبوة وتعرضها للهواء يجب استخدامها، وعدم تركها لفترة طويلة ثم استخدامها فيما بعد حتى انتهاء مدة صلاحيتها.
أما فيما يخص الحقن الخاصة بالإنسولين، واستخدامها خارج المنزل يفضل فى الأجواء الحالية أن تحفظ فى أكياس معزولة عن الحرارة، بجانب أكياس الثلج، على ألا تكون الإبر متصلة بشكل مباشر من الإنسولين.
