نيجيريا تؤيد مبادرة إطلاق عملة "ايكو" الموحدة للمجموعة الاقتصادية لدول غرب افريقيا "ايكواس"

أعلنت الحكومة النيجيرية تاييدها لمبادرة اطلاق العملة الموحدة التى تحمل اسم "ايكو" للمجموعة الاقتصادية لدول غرب افريقيا"ايكواس" حيث وصلت الخطط الخاصة باطلاق هذه العملة الى مراحل متقدمة وتطمح مجموعة الايكواس إلى أن هذه العملة تصبح حجر الزاوية في التكامل الاقتصادي بين دول غرب القارة السمراء، وتساهم في تسهيل التجارة وتعزيز الاستقرار النقدي في جميع أنحاء المنطقة.
وذكرت صحيفة "بلس" الاقتصادية النيجرية اليوم "الاحد" ان تاييد الحكومة النيجيرية لهذه المبادرة من شانه أن يدفع بالنمو والتطوير في جميع أنحاء منطقة غرب إفريقيا.
وأضافت الصحيفة انه تم ادراج العملة الموحدة للمجموعة الاقتصادية "ايكواس" كميزة اضافية فى بطاقة الهوية ثلاثية الوظائف التى تخطط لها اللجنة الوطنية لادارة الهوية فى نيجريا والمقرر اصدارها فى شهر اغسطس القادم.
وقد وافق وزراء المالية ومحافظو البنوك المركزية من الدول الأعضاء الـ15 في المجموعة الاقتصادية لدول غرب إفريقيا على أساليب تنفيذ المبادرة خلال الدورة العادية الـ92 لمجلس وزراء المجموعة الاقتصادية لدول غرب إفريقيا.(ECOWAS) التي عقدت في أبوجا خلال الأسبوع. ويمثل هذا الاجتماع خطوة مهمه نحو تحقيق الهدف الطموح لاطلاق العملة الموحدة "ايكو".
وأشار وزير المالية والتنسيق الاقتصادي النيجيري والي إدون، في بيان موقّع من قبل مدير الصحافة في وزارته، محمد مانجا، إلى التأثير المتوقع لمبادرة العملة الموحدة.
وقال ادون إن العملة الموحدة ستلعب دورا حيويا فى تعزيز "النمو الاقتصادى والتطوير فى المنطقة"، مؤكدا مجددا على التزام نيجيريا الثابت بتنفيذ المبادرة بنجاح.
ووفقًا للبيان، ساهم المشاركون في الاستعدادات لإطلاق العملة الموحدة، مما يمهد الطريق لمستقبل اقتصادي أكثر تكاملًا للدول الأعضاء ال15
شارك فى اجتماع هذا الأسبوع اللاعبين الرئيسيين الذين يلعبون دورًا حاسمًا في تحقيق هذه الرؤية، بما في ذلك وزير المالية في الرأس الأخضر، أولافو كوريا، ووزير المالية والشؤون الاقتصادية في كوت ديفوار، أداما كوليبالي، ووزير المالية الغاني، محمد أمين آدم، إلى جانب ممثلين آخرين.

وأشار معاليه إلى أن هذه المبادرة التي تستهدف تشجيع الاعتزاز بالهوية الوطنية والانتماء الثقافي، وإبراز مكانة الريال السعودي وتعزيز الثقة به، وإظهار مكانة المملكة ضمن الاقتصادات العالمية الكبرى ودول مجموعة العشرين، ستسلط الضوء على تنامي أهمية دور العملة الوطنية في المنظومة المالية العالمية.
وأشاد الأستاذ السياري، بالجهود الحثيثة التي أسهمت في تحقيق هذا الإنجاز، معربًا عن تقديره لجميع الجهات المشاركة في المشروع الذي قاده البنك المركزي السعودي لاعتماد رمز العملة الوطنية، بمن فيها وزارة الثقافة، ووزارة الإعلام، والهيئة السعودية للمواصفات والمقاييس والجودة.
ويجسد رمز العملة الوطنية - الذي صُمم بأعلى المعايير الفنية - ثقافة المملكة وتراثها العريقين، حيث يحمل الرمز اسم عملتنا الوطنية "ريال" بتصميم مستوحى من الخط العربي، وسيعزز الرمز من تمثيل الريال السعودي في السياق المحلي والإقليمي والدولي؛ ما يجعله مناسبًا للاستخدام في الإشارة إلى الريال السعودي في جميع التعاملات المالية والتجارية.
