تعيين أول امرأة رئيسة لمحكمة لاهور العليا في باكستان

رشحت اللجنة القضائية الباكستانية، الثلاثاء، بالإجماع القاضية عالية نيلوم، كأول امرأة تتولى منصب رئيس قضاة على الإطلاق في محكمة لاهور العليا في باكستان، حسبما ذكرت قناة جيو نيوز نقلاً عن مصادر.
وتم ترشيح القاضية في اجتماع للحزب الشيوعي الباكستاني برئاسة رئيس المحكمة العليا الباكستانية قاضي فائز عيسى .
وتعد القاضية عالية هي الثالثة في قائمة الأقدمية في محكمة لاهور العليا بعد ترقية رئيس قضاة محكمة لاهور العليا السابق مالك شهزاد أحمد خان والقاضي شهيد بلال حسن إلى المحكمة العليا.
وولدت القاضية الآنسة عالية نيلوم في 12 نوفمبر 1966 وحصلت على درجة البكالوريوس في القانون من جامعة البنجاب في عام 1995، وتم تسجيلها كمحامية بعد عام واحد.
كما عملت كمحامية في المحكمة العليا بعد التحاقها بالمحكمة في عام 2008.
وأصدرت القاضية عددًا من الأحكام المبلغ عنها بشأن العديد من القضايا المهمة منذ ترقيتها إلى هيئة قضاة محكمة لاهور العليا في عام 2013.

ووفقًا لمؤهلاتها الأكاديمية، حصلت القاضية عالية على درجة الماجستير في العلوم السياسية من جامعة البنجاب وحصلت أيضًا على دبلومات في مجالات متعددة تتعلق بالقانون والقضاء. علاوة على ذلك، حصلت أيضًا على درجة البكالوريوس في التربية من جامعتها الأم.
بالإضافة إلى ممارسة القضاء في التعامل مع القوانين الجنائية والمدنية ومكافحة الإرهاب، عملت القاضية عالية أيضًا كشخصية محورية في محاكم العنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي من بين أعمال أخرى.

وتأتي هذه الموجة من المسافرين مع انطلاق الإجازة المطولة اليوم الخميس، والتي تمتد لتشمل يومي الأحد والاثنين القادمين، معلمةً بذلك آخر فرصة للاستراحة القصيرة قبل الدخول في المراحل النهائية للعام الدراسي.
من جهتها، أكدت الجهات المختصة على أهمية اتخاذ المسافرين للاحتياطات اللازمة والتخطيط المسبق لرحلاتهم، موصيةً بمحاولة اختيار أوقات السفر التي تقل فيها حدة الازدحام عادةً.
وشددت على ضرورة متابعة المستجدات المتعلقة بحالة الطرق ومستوى الكثافة المرورية بشكل مستمر، وذلك من خلال الاستعانة بتطبيق "جسر" المخصص أو عبر زيارة الموقع الإلكتروني الرسمي للمؤسسة العامة لجسر الملك فهد، لاتخاذ القرارات المناسبة بشأن أفضل توقيت للعبور.
يُذكر أن جسر الملك فهد يمثل أحد أهم المعابر البرية في المنطقة، ليس فقط لربطه بين المملكتين الشقيقتين، بل لكونه يشهد حركة مرورية نشطة بشكل دائم على مدار العام، تبلغ ذروتها بشكل خاص خلال فترات العطلات والإجازات والمناسبات المختلفة.
