العصيمي وبلهول يبحثان توظيف تقنيات المستقبل في خدمة «أصحاب الهمم»

زار ماجد العصيمي، رئيس اللجنة البارالمبية الآسيوية، مقر مؤسسة دبي للمستقبل، لبحث سبل تعزيز التعاون والشراكة في مختلف المجالات والمبادرات المستقبلية ذات الاهتمام المشترك، ودراسة مختلف المشروعات المقترحة في مجال تطوير الرياضة البارالمبية ووضع الآليات والخطط المناسبة لتنفيذها.
والتقى العصيمي خلال زيارته، خلفان جمعة بلهول الرئيس التنفيذي لمؤسسة دبي للمستقبل، وبحثا خلال اللقاء أهمية توظيف تقنيات المستقبل مثل الذكاء الاصطناعي في خدمة أصحاب الهمم والرياضات البارالمبية، عبر توفير أفضل الابتكارات والتقنيات، بالتعاون مع المختصين في هذا المجال، لتسهيل حياتهم وتمكينهم بصورة أفضل، ضمن بيئة متساوية الفرص للجميع.
واستعرض رئيس اللجنة البارالمبية الآسيوية خلال اللقاء أبرز التحديات التي تواجه الرياضيين من أصحاب الهمم في آسيا، مؤكداً أهمية تضافر الجهود وتسخير الابتكارات لتوفير بيئة مثالية تخدمهم في كل مناحي الحياة، وخاصة أن الرياضة وسيلة مهمة لتحسين حياتهم ودمجهم في المجتمع.
وأشار ماجد العصيمي إلى أهمية جهود مؤسسة دبي للمستقبل في دعم الرؤى المبتكرة وتطوير التقنيات المتقدمة، وتصميم المستقبل لخدمة البشرية في كافة المجالات، وقال: إن أصحاب الهمم من أهم الشرائح المستهدفة للاستفادة من هذه التقنيات من خلال المشاريع والبرامج الموجهة.
وأشاد خلفان جمعة بلهول، الرئيس التنفيذي لمؤسسة دبي للمستقبل، بجهود اللجنة البارالمبية الآسيوية برئاسة ماجد العصيمي، مؤكداً حرص المؤسسة على الدعم الكامل لهذه الجهود، وتسخير كافة إمكانات المؤسسة من أجل الارتقاء بالرياضة البارالمبية الآسيوية.

أجرى مستشفى الدكتور سليمان الحبيب بالخبر، عملية نوعية لزراعة حلقات القرنية باستخدام تقنيات الفيمتوليزر المتطورة، وذلك لمراجع يبلغ من العمر 28 عاماً، يعاني من تدهور مستمر في مستويات الرؤية، الأمر الذي أفقده القدرة على أداء مهامه اليومية ومواصلة عمله، وكذلك الصعوبة البالغة في قيادة السيارة. ذكر ذلك الدكتور يوسف الشمري استشاري طب وجراحة العيون، رئيس الفريق الطبي المعالج .
والذي أضاف بأن المراجع وصل المستشفى يشكو من تعرضه لتدني متواصل في مستويات النظر، على الفور تم إخضاعه لفحوصات إكلينيكية دقيقة بجهاز "Slit Lamp"، وكذلك فحص طبوغرافية القرنية، وقد كشفت النتائج عن إصابته بالقرنية المخروطية، والتي تؤدي إلى ضُعف تدريجي في الرؤية، نتيجة تغير شكل القرنية، موضحاً أن نسبة الإبصار في العين اليمين كانت لا تتعدى 30% باستخدام الأدوات المساعدة مثل النظارات، وبدونها 20% فقط، كما أوضحت النتائج أن نسبة الإنحراف 3 درجات ونصف.

وأكد الدكتور يوسف الشمري أن جهود الفريق الطبي ، تكللت بالنجاح ولله الحمد بدون أية مضاعفات، إذا كشفت النتائج التي أجريت للمراجع خلال الأسبوع الأول من العملية، تحسن ملحوظ في مستوى النظر من 20 إلى 60%، كما أن نسبة الإنحراف بالعين إنخفضت من 3.5 درجة إلى درجة واحدة، وسيحتاج مدة تتراوح ما بين 6 إلى 8 أشهر لتحقيق أعلى درجات التحسن والتي تصل إلى 100% بإذن الله.
