أدى القسم أمام صاحب السمو الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله وزير الخارجية، بمقر وزارة الخارجية، اليوم، كل من: عبدالله الحمدان المُعيِّن قنصلاً عامًا في نيويورك بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، ومرزوق النفيعي المُعيِّن قنصلاً عامًا في السويس بجمهورية مصر العربية.
ونص القسم على: "أُقسم بالله العظيم أن أكون مخلصاً لديني، ثم مليكي ووطني، وأن لا أبوحَ بسر من أسرار الدولة، وأن أحافظ على مصالحها وأنظمتها في الداخل والخارج، وأن أُؤدّيَ عملي بالصدق والأمانة والإخلاص".
