انطلق ومع بداية يوم الخميس السابع من ذي الحجة أكثر من 700 متطوع ومتطوعة في تقديم خدماتهم التطوعية لمساندة حجاج بيت الله الحرام وتسهيل رحلة أدائهم مناسكهم، وذلك تحت مظلة مبادرة "في عون ضيوف الرحمن" التي يتبناها للموسم الثاني على التوالي البنك العربي الوطني anb بالشراكة مع المركز الوطني للمسؤولية والدراسات، وبالتنسيق مع عدد من الجهات والهيئات الحكومية المعنية بتنظيم موسم الحج.

فيما قام البنك وعلى هامش المبادرة واعتباراً من مطلع موسم الحج بتوزيع عشرات الآلاف من حقائب مستلزمات الحاج والمظلات الشمسية على الحجاج وزوار المدينة المنورة ومكة المكرمة، بالتعاون مع عدد من الفرق التطوعية الأخرى.
وقال سعد الحريقي رئيس إدارة المسؤولية الاجتماعية في البنك العربي الوطني anb أن تجديد البنك لهذه المبادرة وللعام الثاني يأتي في ظل الأثر الإيجابي الذي حققته خلال موسم حج العام الماضي، ومساهمتها في تقديم خدماتها لنحو 116 ألف مستفيد من حجاج بيت الله الحرام، وفي إطار حرص البنك على ترسيخ مفهوم العمل التطوعي وتعزيز تكاتف الجهود التي تبذلها المملكة بمساهمة كافة القطاعات بالواجب المشرّف لخدمة الحجاج وتمكينهم من أداء مناسكهم براحة وسهولة.
وأضاف الحريقي، أنه قد تم اتخاذ كافة التدابير والتجهيزات الفنية والتأهيلية اللازمة التي تمكّن من تحقيق مستهدفات المبادرة وفق أعلى معايير الاحترافية وجودة الأداء، وبما يصبّ في دعم مؤشرات نجاح تنظيم موسم الحج بما يليق بسمعة ومكانة المملكة ودورها في رعاية وخدمة الحجيج.
وكانت الفرق التطوعية المشاركة في النسخة الثانية من مبادرة "في عون ضيوف الرحمن" قد التحقت بورش عمل لرفع جاهزيتها في أداء مهامها التطوعية وذلك قبيل بدء مناسك الحج.
