تمكن مستشفى الدكتور سليمان الحبيب بالخبر، من إعادة القدرة على الحركة، لمراجعة في العقد التاسع من العمر، كانت قد خضعت لعملية استبدال مفصل ركبة في وقت سابق، وتعرضت لحادث سقوط عرضي، أصيبت إثرها بحزمة أعراض حادة أقعدتها عن الحركة، وأجرى لها فريق طبي بقيادة د. عمر دحدولي استشاري جراحة العظام، عملية جراحية معقدة أعادت لها القدرة على الحركة.

وأضاف د. دحدولي أن الفريق الطبي أجرى جراحة للمراجعة تم فيها استبدال مفصل الركبة بآخر مخصص لحالات الأورام والمفاصل المعقدة، ومن ثم إزالة الجزء السفلي المكسور من عظمة الفخذ والاستعاضة عنه بقضيب معدني، واستمر التدخل الطبي قرابة الـ "3" ساعات ومضى بسلاسة، وتكللت جهود الفريق الطبي ولله الحمد بالنجاح التام، ونقلت المراجعة إلى غرفة التنويم بمؤشرات حيوية مستقرة، وتحسنت حالتها وتمكنت من المشي في اليوم التالي، واستمر تحسنها مع العناية الطبية الحثيثة والعلاج الطبيعي قبل أن تغادر المستشفى بعد عدة أيام من الجراحة.
