وقدم مدير عام فرع المركز الوطني لتنمية الغطاء النباتي ومكافحة التصحر بالمنطقة الشرقية المهندس يوسف البدر عرضًا لسموه حول موسم التشجير الوطني في نسخته الثانية، الذي تشارك فيه العديد من الجهات، ويأتي امتدادًا للجهود الوطنية الرامية إلى تحقيق مستهدفات مبادرة السعودية الخضراء، من خلال تنمية الغطاء النباتي، والحد من تدهور الأراضي، وتشجيع زراعة النباتات المحلية الملائمة، إضافةً إلى رفع الوعي بالممارسات البيئية السليمة، وتعزيز ثقافة التطوع، وتجسيد التكامل بين مختلف القطاعات العامة والخاصة وغير الربحية.
وأضاف البدر أنه تزامنًا مع انطلاق الموسم، أطلق البرنامج الوطني للتشجير الهوية الرسمية لموسم التشجير الوطني 2025، التي تحمل مضامين تعزز ثقافة التشجير وتؤكد أن التشجير ليس مجرد حملة بيئية، بل التزام وطني يعكس وعي المجتمع ومسؤوليته تجاه الأجيال القادمة.
