وأكد سمو أمير المنطقة الشرقية أن ما يحققه رجال مكافحة المخدرات من نجاحات متواصلة في التصدي لآفة المخدرات، إنما يأتي – بعد توفيق الله – نتيجةً لما توليه القيادة الرشيدة – أيدها الله – من اهتمام بتعزيز أمن المجتمع وحماية أفراده، مشيدًا بجهود الإدارة العامة لمكافحة المخدرات في الحد من انتشار هذه الآفة وملاحقة المروجين، ومثمنًا سموه إنجازاتهم وتفانيهم في أداء واجبهم الوطني، وما يقومون به من مبادرات توعوية موجهة لفئة الشباب والشابات، بهدف رفع الوعي بمخاطر المخدرات والوقاية من الانجراف وراءها.
