أعلنت وزارة الداخلية الكويتية أن الإدارة العامة لمكافحة المخدرات نجحت في إحباط تهريب 100 كيلوغرام من مادة الحشيش المخدر، تم جلبها عن طريق البحر وضبط مواطن متورط بمحاولة تهريبها.
وفي بيان لها، قالت الداخلية الكويتية: "تمكنت الإدارة العامة لمكافحة المخدرات من إحباط عملية تهريب 100 كيلوغرام من مادة الحشيش المخدرة تم جلبها عن طريق البحر، وضبط مواطن متورط بجلبها وذلك بقصد الاتجار بها بالبلاد، علما بأن القيمة السوقية للمضبوطات تقدر بحوالي ربع مليون دينار كويتي".
وأضاف البيان: "تؤكد وزارة الداخلية أن رجال الأمن مستمرون في التصدي لمروجي ومهربي المواد المخدرة وحماية المجتمع والحفاظ عليه من تلك الآفات الخطيرة، مهيبة بالجميع التعاون مع رجال الامن والابلاغ عن اي ظواهر سلبية على هاتف الطوارئ والخط الساخن للادارة العامة لمكافحة المخدرات".
