بنك البلاد يحصل على شهادة المجلس الأمريكي للمباني الخضراء " LEED"

حقّق بنك البلاد إنجازاً جديداً، بحصول برج البلاد (المقر الرئيسي للبنك) على التصنيف الذهبي في الريادة في تصميمات الطاقة والبيئة “LEED” التي يقدمها المجلس الأمريكي للمباني الخضراء (USGBC)، تماشياَ مع المبادرات الطموحة والخيارات المستدامة التي تتخذها وتنفذها المملكة لخفض الانبعاثات الكربونية وخلق عالم أكثر صحة واستدامة تحقيقاً لمبادرة السعودية الخضراء ومستهدفات رؤية 2030 بالالتزام بمعايير الممارسات البيئية والاجتماعية والحوكمة وتحقيق الريادة في تصميمات الطاقة والبيئة، ودعم توجهات المملكة للوصول للحياد الكربوني (صفر في المئة صافي انبعاثات الكربون) بحلول عام 2060، ليضيف بذلك جائزة جديدة إلى قائمة الجوائز والتقديرات المتنامية التي حصل عليها البنك، بما يتماشى مع استراتيجيته، وبموجب هذه الشهادة، أصبح بنك البلاد أول بنك في المملكة يحصل على هذه الشهادة، وهو ما يمثل علامة فارقة في رحلته نحو الاستدامة، والمسؤولية البيئية والكفاءة التشغيلية.

يفخر البنك بالحصول على شهادة (LEED) حيث تُشكل رمزاً دولياً للتميز، الأمر الذي يتناغم مع أهداف واستراتيجية البنك ويعزّز حصوله على هذه الشهادة المهمة المكانة الرائدة في تبني مفاهيم المباني الخضراء، ويعكس تفانيه في اتباع الممارسات المستدامة في العمليات اليومية، ويؤكد في الوقت نفسه أن مسؤولية البنك لا تقتصر على العملاء، والموظفين فحسب، وإنما تمتد أيضًا لتشمل الكوكب الذي نعيش عليه.
