أمير الكويت يزور مصر لأول مرة بعد توليه مقاليد السلطة

الكويت – يتوجه أمير الكويت، الشيخ مشعل الأحمد الجابر الصباح، غدًا الثلاثاء، إلى مصر، في أول زيارة له بعد توليه مقاليد السلطة في بلاده.
ومن المقرر أن يبحث أمير الكويت مع الرئيس المصري عبد الفتاح السيسي العلاقات الثنائية وسبل تعزيرها وقضايا المنطقة وتطورات الأحداث ودعم العمل العربي المشترك.
وتعد زيارة أمير الكويت إلى مصر الأولى منذ توليه الإمارة في ديسمبر الماضي، ولكن زارها في 21 أكتوبر 2023 عندما كان وليا للعهد ممثلا للأمير الراحل الشيخ نواف الأحمد في قمة القاهرة للسلام، كما زارها في 27 نوفمبر 2022 ممثلا للأمير في مؤتمر أطراف اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لتغير المناخ والنسخة الثانية من قمة مبادرة الشرق الأوسط الأخضر.
وفي الـ 17 من ديسمبر 2023، زار الرئيس عبدالفتاح السيسي دولة الكويت، حيث قدم واجب العزاء في وفاة الأمير الراحل الشيخ نواف الأحمد والتقى أمير البلاد الشيخ مشعل، معربا عن خالص التمنيات له بالتوفيق والسداد في إكمال مسيرة التقدم بالبلاد.
