أعلن الدفاع المدني عبر منصة "اكس" أنّ عناصر من وحدة الإنقاذ البحري ومن المراكز البرية المجاورة في الدفاع المدني، تمكنوا من إنقاذ مواطنين اثنين من الغرق قبالة شاطئ الرملة البيضاء- بيروت بسبب ارتفاع الأمواج وسرعة التيار المائي.
كذلك، تمكن الدفاع المدني من إنقاذ غريق ثالث وهو في حال حرجة.
توازياً، تواصل العناصر تنفيذ عمليات المسح الميداني الشامل براً وبحراً في محاولة للعثور على شخصين لا يزالان في عداد المفقودين.
