ملك الأردن يأمر بإجراء انتخابات مجلس النواب

أمر العاهل الأردني الملك عبدالله الثاني، الأربعاء، بإجراء الانتخابات لمجلس النواب وفق أحكام القانون.
أمير الكويت وملك الأردن يبحثان العلاقات التاريخية الوثيقة بين بلديهما الأردن يرحب بنتائج تقرير أممي يؤكد حيادية وكالة أونرواكما زار الملك عبدالله الثاني، الهيئة المستقلة للانتخاب، والتقى رئيس وأعضاء مجلس مفوضيها للاطلاع على استعداداتها وتحضيراتها لإدارة العملية الانتخابية والإشراف عليها.
وأكد العاهل الأردني ضرورة بذل الجهود من قبل مجلس المفوضين وكوادر الهيئة لإنجاح العملية الانتخابية، والعمل لمنع أية تجاوزات بكل حزم.
وبين الملك أن الأردن أمام محطة مهمة من عملية التحديث السياسي، التي تشكل بداية مرحلة جديدة من العمل الحزبي والبرلماني البرامجي.
وأشار الملك عبد الله إلى أنه وجه الحكومة لتقديم كل الدعم للهيئة المستقلة للانتخاب.
من جهة أخرى، أكد رئيس مجلس مفوضي الهيئة المستقلة للانتخاب، موسى المعايطة، جاهزية الهيئة للعملية الانتخابية والتعامل مع سيرها والإعلان عن نتائجها بكل شفافية.
ووفقا للمعايطة، فقد أعلنت الهيئة عن سجل الناخبين إلكترونيا، مبينا أن عدد الناخبين بلغ أكثر من 5 ملايين ناخب وناخبة.
وأشار إلى أنه تم تحديد 1600 مركز اقتراع واختيار 19 لجنة انتخابية رئيسة.
وبموجب الدستور، تجرى الانتخابات التعددية عادة في غضون 4 أشهر من انتهاء فترة ولاية مجلس النواب البالغة أربع سنوات.
وأجريت آخر انتخابات بالبلاد في نوفمبر 2020 وبلغ فيها عدد الناخبين المؤهلين 4.6 مليون ناخب.
من جهة أخرى وصل أمير الكويت الشيخ مشعل الأحمد الصباح، أمس الثلاثاء، إلى الأردن في زيارة دولة تستغرق يومين، حيث كان في مقدمة مستقبليه الملك عبدالله الثاني في مطار ماركا.
وبحسب وكالة الأنباء الأردنية "بترا"، رافقت طائرة أمير الكويت لدى دخولها أجواء المملكة، طائرات مقاتلة من طراز "F16" تابعة لسلاح الجو الملكي الأردني ترحيباً به، وترأس الزعيمان جلسة مباحثات استعرضت مسيرة العلاقات الأخوية الوثيقة التاريخية التي تربط الكويت والمملكة الأردنية، ومختلف جوانب التعاون الثنائي بين البلدين بما يدعم ويعزز العلاقات الراسخة التي تجمع الشعبين الشقيقين، وفق وكالة الأنباء الكويتية (كونا).
وكان الشيخ مشعل الأحمد، غادر في وقت سابق من اليوم، بلاده متوجهاً إلى الأردن في زيارة هي الأولى له خارج منطقة الخليج منذ توليه منصبه في ديسمبر الماضي، حيث كان في وداعه والوفد الرسمي المرافق له، نائب الأمير ورئيس مجلس الوزراء المكلف بتشكيل الحكومة، الشيخ أحمد عبد الله الأحمد الصباح، ورئيس الحكومة المكلفة بتصريف الأعمال، الشيخ محمد صباح السالم الصباح، وغيرهم من كبار المسؤولين بالدولة، دون الكشف عن برنامج الزيارة.
وتأتي الزيارة، بحسب ما نشره الديوان الملكي الهاشمي، تلبية لدعوة من الملك عبد الله الثاني.
