الإمارات تستعد لأمطار جديدة ابتداء من اليوم الإثنين

بدتت سلطات الأرصاد الجوية الإماراتية المخاوف، قائلة إن الأمطار المتوقع هطولها هذا الأسبوع “لن تكون قابلة للمقارنة” بحدث الأسبوع الماضي، وفق ما نقلت وسائل إعلام محلية.

تستعد دولة الإمارات لموجة جديدة من الأمطار، تبدأ الإثنين وتنتهي الأربعاء، وذلك بعد أسبوع من هطول معدلات قياسية من الأمطار بمستوى لم تشهده الدولة الخليجية منذ 75 عاما.
ومع ذلك، بدتت سلطات الأرصاد الجوية الإماراتية المخاوف، قائلة إن الأمطار المتوقع هطولها هذا الأسبوع “لن تكون قابلة للمقارنة” بحدث الأسبوع الماضي، وفق ما نقلت وسائل إعلام محلية.
وكانت الإمارات قد شهدت، الأسبوع الماضي، هطول أمطار غزيرة أحدثت اضطرابات في حركة الملاحة الجوية وانقطاع بعض الطرق الرئيسية بسبب تجمعات المياه.
وقال خبير المناخ بالمركز الوطني للأرصاد الجوية (NCM)، أحمد حبيب، لصحيفة “خليج تايمز” المحلية الناطقة باللغة الإنكليزية، إنه على الرغم من وجود فرصة لهطول أمطار خفيفة إلى متوسطة، مساء الإثنين، وتوقع هطول أمطار إضافية على مناطق محددة من الإمارات، الثلاثاء، فإنه “لا يوجد سبب للقلق”.
وأضاف أن “الوضع الحالي لا ينطوي على هطول أمطار غزيرة على الإطلاق، ولا يمكن مقارنته بحدث الأسبوع الماضي”.
وشرح قائلا: “سيبدأ هطول الأمطار ظهر الإثنين ويزداد الغطاء السحابي تدريجيا ويستمر ليلا. وطوال يوم الثلاثاء خاصة نهارا هناك فرصة لأمطار متوسطة على الشرق. وستشهد الإمارات ارتفاعا عاما في درجات الحرارة نهارا. بعد ذلك ستشهد انخفاضا في درجة الحرارة بمقدار 5 إلى 7 درجات يوم الأربعاء”.
والأسبوع الماضي، أعلن المركز الوطني للأرصاد أن الإمارات شهدت هطول أكبر كميات أمطار منذ بدء تسجيل البيانات المناخية عام 1949، أي قبل تأسيس الاتحاد عام 1971.
وأشار إلى أنه “تم تسجيل أعلى كمية أمطار في منطقة خطم الشكلة بالعين (في أبوظبي)، حيث بلغت 254,8 ملم في أقل من 24 ساعة”.

تشهد أجواء المملكة العربية السعودية خلال الأيام القادمة حالة من التقلبات الجوية، حيث من المتوقع أن تستمر فرص هطول الأمطار خلال اليوم الأحد على المناطق الوسطى والشرقية، بالإضافة إلى بعض أجزاء المناطق الشمالية. بينما تتراجع فرص هطول الأمطار يوم الاثنين، قبل أن تعود مرة أخرى بشكل واسع اعتبارًا من يوم الثلاثاء، لتشمل مناطق وسط وشرق وشمال المملكة، إلى جانب بعض أجزاء منطقة مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة.
وشهدت مناطق ومدن المملكة هطول الامطار من متوسطة الى غزيرة حيث باشرت فرق الدفاع المدني والمرور التواجد المكثف عبر المداخل والمخارج في الاحياء والطرق السريعة مما يؤكد جاهزية الجهات ذات العلاقة وكذلك الجهود التي تقوم بها امانات المناطق في تسخير كافة الإمكانيات لتلافي تجمع مياه الأمطار في الشوارع والاحياء.
