المملكة تختتم مشاركتها في اجتماعات الربيع لصندوق النقد ومجموعة البنك الدوليين للعام 2024م

اختتم وفد المملكة العربية السعودية مشاركته في اجتماعات الربيع لصندوق النقد ومجموعة البنك الدوليين للعام 2024م، برئاسة معالي وزير المالية الأستاذ محمد بن عبدالله الجدعان، وذلك في العاصمة الأمريكية واشنطن خلال الفترة من 6 – 11 شوال 1445هـ.
وشارك معالي الجدعان خلال اليوم الأول في اجتماع وزراء ومحافظي صندوق النقد الدولي لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا وأفغانستان وباكستان، مؤكداً خلاله أهمية تطبيق سياسات مالية فعّالة لتعزيز المرونة والاستدامة في ظل التحديات التي تواجه الاقتصاد العالمي.
وشارك معاليه في اجتماع الطاولة المستديرة لمناقشة الديون السيادية العالمية، موضحاً أهمية تعزيز كفاءة إعادة هيكلة الديون وشفافيتها لدعم جهود مبادرة الإطار المشترك لمعالجة الديون.
وخلال الاجتماع الثاني لوزراء المالية ومحافظي البنوك المركزية لمجموعة العشرين تحت الرئاسة البرازيلية، ذكر معالي الجدعان بأن التحديات التي يواجهها العالم، بما في ذلك التغير المناخي، تتطلب تضافر الجهود من الجميع.
كما أكد معاليه دعم المملكة لجهود الرئاسة البرازيلية لمواصلة الحوار المستمر بين أعضاء المجموعة الذي يركز على تعزيز دور بنوك التنمية متعددة الأطراف في التنمية المستدامة.
وترأس معالي وزير المالية أول اجتماع للجنة الدولية للشؤون النقدية والمالية التابعة لصندوق النقد الدولي بعد إعلان رئاسة المملكة لها، حيث هدف الاجتماع إلى تبادل وجهات النظر حيال تطورات الاقتصاد العالمي ومناقشة أولويات السياسات الاقتصادية العالمية، ودور الصندوق في التعامل مع هذه التطورات من خلال تقديم المساعدات المالية والمشورة وبناء القدرات الفنية للدول الأعضاء والدعم المالي للدول المحتاجة.
كما شارك الوفد السعودي في اجتماع لجنة التنمية التابعة لمجموعة البنك الدولي، وتضمنت كلمة المملكة التأكيد على أهمية الالتزام بنموذج تنمية قائم على احتياجات البلدان للتركيز على أهم أولويات التنمية الخاصة بها.
والتقى معاليه، على هامش اجتماعات الربيع، عدداً من الوزراء ومحافظي البنوك المركزية ورؤساء البنوك التجارية العالمية، وناقش معهم أوجه تعزيز التعاون الاقتصادي والعلاقات الثنائية.

وجاءت عملية اختيار الفائزين من خلال لجان مستقلة ضمت نخبة من الخبراء المتخصصين في هذا القطاع، تم اختيارهم بعناية من قبل الجمعية السعودية للمحللين الماليين المعتمدين، وكذلك جمعية علاقات المستثمرين في الشرق الأوسط، حيث تم تقييم المتنافسين بناءً على معايير صارمة لضمان تحقيق أعلى مستويات التميز ضمن مجالهم.

وأضاف: " هذا التكريم يعزز مكانتنا في القطاع المصرفي بشكل أكبر، ولهذا سنواصل العمل على تعزيز الأثر البيئي والاجتماعي للاستدامة، ترسيخًا لدورنا كمساهم رئيسي في تحقيق الأهداف المتعلقة بهذا المجال."
يواصل "الأول" دوره الريادي حيث كان أول بنك في المملكة يضع استراتيجية متكاملة للاستدامة، تتضمن التزامات لتحقيق الحياد الصفري في العمليات التشغيلية بحلول عام 2035، والحياد الصفري في الانبعاثات الممولة بحلول عام 2060. كما خصص البنك مبلغ 34 مليار ريال سعودي للتمويل المستدام بحلول عام 2025 بما يتماشى مع التوجهات الوطنية ومبادرة السعودية الخضراء.
كما يتولى حاليًا رئاسة اللجنة الاستشارية المصرفية للاستدامة تحت إشراف البنك المركزي السعودي "ساما" مما يعزز مكانته كقائد في مجال التمويل المستدام.
