واشنطن ترفض اتهامات طهران بشأن حادثة السفارة الإيرانية بدمشق

رفض البيت الأبيض الاتهامات الإيرانية بشأن الهجوم الإسرائيلي على السفارة الإيرانية في العاصمة دمشق، واصفة تلك الاتهمات بالهراء.
اقرأ ايضاًونفى المتحدث باسم الأمن القومي بالبيت الأبيض جون كيربي أن تكون واشنطن على علاقة بهذا الهجوم الذي قتل فيه قادة في الحرس الثوري الإيراني.
وحذر كيربي من أن بلاده ستردّ على أي هجمات انتقامية، في إشارة إلى الهجمات التي تنفذ ضد القواعد الأمريكية في كل من سوريا والعراق.
وأضاف المتحدث باسم البيت الأبيض بأن بلاده لن تتهاون في حماية قواتها ومنشآتنا في العراق وسوريا، مشيرا إلى أنها ستبذل كل ما بوسعها لحماية تلك القوات.
وفي وقت سابق قالت المتحدثة باسم وزارة الدفاع الأميركية (البنتاغون) سابرينا سينغ، إن إسرائيل لم تقدم أي تحذير مسبق بخصوص الضربة على مقر البعثة الإيرانية في العاصمة السورية.
