اختيار المملكة لترؤس لجنة وضع المرأة في الأمم المتحدة

قررت "لجنة وضع المرأة في منظمة الأمم المتحدة" بإجماع أعضائها اختيار المملكة العربية السعودية لترؤس الدورة التاسعة والستين للجنة خلال عام 2025م.
ويعد السفير الدكتور عبدالعزيز بن محمد الواصل أول مندوب دائم للمملكة يترأس هذه اللجنة منذ تأسيسها في عام 1946م.

. ضبط 3 أشخاص لترويجهم 19,940 قرصاً من الإمفيتامين المخدرولجنة وضع المرأة هي لجنة فنية منبثقة عن المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي التابع للأمم المتحدة، وتعنى بالعمل على تحقيق النهوض بوضع المرأة، وتجتمع سنوياً لتقييم التقدم المحرز في هذا المجال، وتضع المعايير وتصيغ السياسات من أجل تعزيز وضع المرأة حول العالم.
