ممثلة أميركية تكشف خضوعها لاستئصال الثديين

كشفت الممثلة وعارضة الأزياء الأميركية أوليفيا مان (43 عاما)، الأربعاء، أنها خضعت لعملية استئصال الثديين العام الماضي بعد تشخيص إصابتها بنوع "عدواني وسريع التطور" من سرطان الثدي.
وكتبت أوليفيا مان على حسابها على إنستغرام، بعد ظهورها، الأحد، في حفلة توزيع جوائز الأوسكار في هوليوود مع شريكها الممثل الكوميدي الأميركي جون مولاني "آمل أن مشاركتي هذا الأمر ستساعد أخريات على أن يجدن الراحة والإلهام والدعم لرحلتهنّ الخاصة" مع هذا المرض.
وأوضحت الممثلة، التي اشتهرت بمشاركتها في سلسلة أفلام "آيرون مان"، و"ليغو"، و"إكس من"، ومسلسل "ذي نيوزروم"، وكذلك برنامج "ديلي شو" للفكاهي جون ستيوارت، أنها أجرت في فبراير 2023 "اختباراً جينياً سلبياً" لمخاطر السرطان، كما أتت نتيجة صورة بالأشعة للثدي "طبيعية".
وعلى الرغم من هذه النتيجة، فضّل طبيبها النسائي بعد شهرين أن يُخضعها لتقويم إحصائي حول مخاطر إصابتها بسرطان الثدي نظراً إلى سجلّ عائلتها مع هذا المرض، أو العمر الذي أنجبت فيه طفلها.
وأظهرت النتيجة احتمالاً بنسبة 37 بالمئة، وخضعت أوليفيا مان بعد ذلك للتصوير بالرنين المغناطيسي والموجات فوق الصوتية والخزعة، ليتبين أنها مصابة "بسرطان الثدي اللمعي بي في كلا الثديين"، وهو شكل "عدواني وسريع التطور" من السرطان.
وقالت الممثلة التي نشرت صوراً لها في المستشفى "بعد 30 يوماً من هذه الخزعة، خضعتُ لعملية استئصال الثديين، وانتقلت من حالة شعرت فيها أنني بخير تماماً إلى الاستيقاظ في سرير المستشفى بعد عشر ساعات من الجراحة".
وأوضحت أنها خضعت لأربع عمليات في المجموع.
يذكر أن النجمة الأميركية أنجلينا جولي تصدرت عناوين الصحف العالمية، في مايو 2013،عندما كشفت أيضاً عن خضوعها لعملية استئصال الثديين.

نجح مستشفى الدكتور سليمان الحبيب بالخبر، في إجراء عملية جراحية ناجحة، لاستئصال "9" أورام مختلفة الأحجام بالرحم والحوض، ممتدة إلى منطقة القفص الصدري، وبلغ طول أكبرها "22" سم وعرضها "10" سم، وسببت حزمة من الأعراض الحادة المتزايدة، ذكر ذلك الدكتور خالد الزهراني استشاري النساء والولادة وجراحة مناظير الحوض، رئيس الفريق الطبي المعالج الحاصل على الزمالة الأمريكية والبورد الكندي.

وعقب اسقبالها مباشرة تم تقديم الإسعافات الأولية لها، وإيقاف النزيف، وإخضاعها لفحوصات طبية دقيقة بأشعة الرنين المغناطيسي (M.R.I) والتحاليل المخبرية، والإطلاع على تاريخها المرضي، حيث تبين أنها سبق وأن خضعت لخمس عمليات قيصرية، نتجت عنها التصاقات بطنية شديدة، وقد خضعت للعلاجات الهرمونية في محاولة منها للسيطرة على النزيف المتكرر، ولكن دون جدوى.
وأشار الدكتور الزهراني إلى أن نتائج الفحوصات كشفت عن وجود "9" أورام مختلفة الأحجام بالرحم والحوض، ممتدة إلى منطقة القفص الصدري، أكبرها بطول 22 سم وعرض 10 سم، هذا بالإضافة إلى وجود جرح بالمثانة ناتج عن الالتصاقات البطنية من العمليات السابقة، وكذلك نقص شديد في نسبة هيموجلبين الدم وأنيميا حادة، مع حاجتها الماسة إلى حقن وأدوية تحفظية لمعالجة فقر الدم.
