إنفاذًا لتوجيهات خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود - حفظه الله -، بدأت وزارة الداخلية تنفيذ إجراءات العفو عن النزلاء والنزيلات المحكومين في الحق العام ليتم إطلاق سراحهم وعودتهم إلى أهاليهم.
ووجه صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير عبدالعزيز بن سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز وزير الداخلية، بسرعة إنفاذ الأمر الملكي الكريم وإنهاء إجراءات المستفيدين منه، مؤكدًا أن هذه اللفتة الإنسانية الحانية من خادم الحرمين الشريفين - حفظه الله - سيكون لها الأثر البالغ في نفوس المستفيدين بعد خروجهم ولم شملهم بأسرهم.
