ونفى وزير الخارجية والتعاون الدولي الصومالي - وفقا لما أوردته وكالة الأنباء الصومالية (صونا)، اليوم /الأحد/ - الأخبار التي تداولتها وسائل الإعلام الصومالية حول اتفاقية تجارية موقعة بين البلدين، مشيرا إلى وجود اتفاق يقتصر على مذكرة تفاهم للتعاون في العلاقات الدولية، واستبعد أن تكون هناك اتفاقية عسكرية مع روسيا.
وقال: "لقد وقعنا مذكرة تفاهم تسمى الاستشارات السياسية وهي معيار دولي أو نموذج يتم الدخول فيه مع أي دولة بمعنى التعاون والعلاقات الدولية وما شابه ذلك، وهكذا كان الأمر كذلك، ولدينا علاقة جيدة مع روسيا".
