واصل مستشفى دله النخيل في الرياض، تميزه وتخصصه، في إجراء العمليات الجراحية الدقيقة والنادرة، بأعلى معايير الجودة والإتقان، حيث نجح المستشفى، مؤخرا، من إجراء عملية جراحية دقيقة، لمريض عشريني، كان مصابا بتشوه حاد، في إحدى قدميه، ليصبح بعد الإجراء، قادرا على المشي، بصورة طبيعية.
وأدّى تشوه قدم المريض الذي نتج عن إصابة قديمة حدثت له، إلى ظهور إلتهابات خطيرة، تسببت في عدم قدرته على المشي، وأقعدته عن الحركة الطبيعية، بصورة كبيرة، كما أن ترك الإصابة لمدة طويلة وإهمالها، أدّى إلى تفاقم الحالة المرضية للمريض، الذي كان يعاني من آلام حادة وعديدة في قدمه.

وبيّن الاستشاري محمد الشولي، أن المريض العشريني راجع، قبل القدوم إلى المستشفى، عددا من الأطباء الذين اعتذروا بدروهم عن إجراء العملية له، مضيفا أن بعض الأطباء عرضوا على المريض بتر قدمه.
وأكد د. محمد الشولي، أن المريض أصبح الآن في كامل صحته، وتعافى من الآلام الناتجة عن إصابة قدمه، وأصبح حاليا قادرا على المشي بصورة طبيعية، وقادرا أيضا على إيجاد حذاء مناسب، بعد أن كان ذلك متعذرا عليه، بسبب التشوه في قدمه.
