نائب أمير الشرقية يستقبل وفد هيئة الربط الكهربائي الخليجي

استقبل صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير سعود بن بندر بن عبدالعزيز نائب ‏أمير المنطقة الشرقية‬، في مكتب سموه بديوان الإمارة اليوم الأربعاء، الرئيس التنفيذي لهيئة الربط الكهربائي الخليجي المهندس احمد الابراهيم يرافقه عدد من قيادات الهيئة .

وثمن سمو نائب أمير المنطقة الشرقية الدور الذي تقوم به الهيئة في تعزيز واستمرارية أمن الطاقة لدول مجلس التعاون، ومواجهة فقدان القدرة على التوليد في الحالات الطارئة.
وأوضح الابراهيم أن المشروع يحقق المحافظة على استمرارية أمن الطاقة لشبكات كهرباء دول مجلس التعاون ويحقق أعلى مستويات الموثوقية والاعتمادية والكفاءة، وقال " هذا المشروع الاستراتيجي الخليجي حقق منافع فنية واقتصادية لدول المجلس، حيث يساهم بالدعم في الحالات الطارئة، ويحقق تجنب شبكات كهرباء دول مجلس التعاون من أي انقطاع جزئي أو كلي بنسبة 100%، وذلك من خلال تقديم الدعم الفوري خلال الحالات الطارئة بنقل الطاقة المطلوبة عبر شبكة الربط الكهربائي التي تمتد لمسافة تقارب 1,050 كيلو متر من دولة الكويت شمالاً إلى سلطنة عُمان جنوباً.
وأضاف " منذ تشغيل المشروع وحتى الآن تمت مساندة ما يقرب من 2700 حالة دعم، كما أسهم المشروع في تحقيق وفورات لدول المجلس تتراوح بين 200 إلى 300 مليون دولار أمريكي سنوياً، وقد بلغت الوفورات التراكمية لدول مجلس التعاون منذ بدء تشغيل المشروع ما يفوق ثلاثة مليارات دولار أمريكي، مقارنة بالتكاليف الاستثمارية والتشغيلية للمشروع منذ انشائه والتي بلغت حوالي مليار ونصف المليار دولار.
وأشار الابراهيم إلى أنه مُنذ تدشين مشروع الربط الكهربائي الخليجي، لم يتوقف القائمون عليه على تطويره، وتوسعته، ليكون أقدر على تحقيق أهدافه، وفق توجهات استراتيجية طموحة، وذلك لمواكبة التطور السريع وارتفاع نسب النمو في الطلب على الطاقة الكهربائية لشبكات كهرباء دول مجلس التعاون، فقامت الهيئة بإجراء عدة دراسات فنية واقتصادية، بهدف زيادة الموثوقية أثناء حالات الطوارئ، وبحث امكانية التوسع خارج المنظومة الكهربائية لدول مجلس التعاون عن طريق دراسة فرص الربط مع الشبكات المجاورة ، وأسفرت الدراسات عن جدوى تنفيذ ثلاث مشروعات رئيسة، هي توسعة الربط مع دولة الكويت، والتوسعة مع دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، والربط المباشر مع سلطنة عُمان، وستمكن هذه التوسعة من حصول الدول الأعضاء على دعم كهربائي أكبر خلال حالات الطوارئ، كما ستتيح للدول الخليجية تبادل وتجارة الطاقة فيما بينها بشكل أكبر وأجدى اقتصادياً، والتوسع خارج المنظومة الكهربائية لدول مجلس التعاون.
