جامعة السلطان قابوس تنظم "الملتقى الميكانيكي الأول"

نظمت جامعة السلطان قابوس ممثلة بجماعة الهندسة الميكانيكية بكلية الهندسة، الملتقى الميكانيكي الأول "إنجاز"، وذلك بمشاركة عدد من الكليات والجامعات في السلطنة، ولمدة 3 أيام.
ويتضمن الملتقى تنظيم مسابقة لأفضل ثلاثة مشاريع هندسية ميكانيكية، إذ تسعى جماعة الهندسة الميكانيكية في هذا الملتقى إلى نشر الثقافة الهندسية بشكل عام وبالمجال الميكانيكي بشكل خاص، وتكوين بيئة محفزة للإبتكار بين الشباب، وتقديم حلول فعالة لمشاكل وتحديات قائمة، بالإضافة إلى تنمية مهارة الإبداع والابتكار، والعمل بروح الفريق الواحد، وكذلك تعزيز الأفكار والخطط الابتكارية المتميزة.
وكانت المسابقة قد انطلقت في خريف 2023، حيث تمت دعوة 16 مشروعًا من مختلف الكليات والجامعات، وتم فرز هذه المشاريع والإعلان عن 8 مشاريع متأهلة إلى المرحلة النهائية خلال مرحلة الفرز الأول وهي: 3 مشاريع من جامعة السلطان قابوس، مشروعين من الكلية العسكرية التقنية، مشروع من جامعة التقنية والعلوم التطبيقية بمسقط، ومشروع من جامعة التقنية والعلوم التطبيقية بالمصنعة، ومشروع من الجامعة الوطنية "الكلية البحرية الدولية".
وتم خلال الملتقى عمل 8 أركان خاصة للمشاريع المتأهلة، إذ يتم التصويت من قبل لجنة التحكيم بنسبة 70 % ومن قبل الجماهير بنسبة 30 % ، ويتم الإعلان عن جائزة أفضل 3 مشاريع مشاركة في المسابقة في الأمسية المصاحبة للملتقى.

وأعرب البروفيسور وهيب الخاجة عن اعتزاز الجامعة بمشاركة الأشقاء السعوديين فرحتهم بهذه المناسبة الوطنية العزيزة، مشيدًا بالعلاقات الأخوية المتينة التي تربط مملكة البحرين والمملكة العربية السعودية، والتي تمتد بجذورها العميقة في التاريخ. كما أعرب عن فخره بخريجي وطلاب الجامعة من المملكة العربية السعودية، الذين يمثلون نموذجًا مشرفًا للعلم والتميز، ويعتبرون سفراء للجامعة بفضل جهودهم الأكاديمية ومساهماتهم العلمية في مختلف المجالات.

من جانبه، أوضح رئيس الجامعة البروفيسور حاتم المصري أن يوم التأسيس السعودي يمثل مناسبة عظيمة لاستذكار الجذور التاريخية العريقة للمملكة، موضحاً أن الجامعة تحرص على تعزيز التواصل الثقافي بين طلابها.
وهنأ البروفيسور حاتم المصري طلاب الجامعة من المملكة العربية السعودية، معربًا عن تمنياته بأن يديم الله على المملكة العربية السعودية الأفراح، وأن يحفظها آمنة مستقرة مزدهرة، تحت القيادة الحكيمة لخادم الحرمين الشريفين وولي عهده الأمين. وأضاف أن الجامعة ستواصل جهودها في توفير بيئة أكاديمية تسهم في بناء قادة المستقبل، وتعزز قيم الوحدة والتعاون بين الشعبين البحريني والسعودي.
