التايلندية باتي تتصدر بطولة أرامكو السعودية لجولف السيدات

شهدت منافسات اليوم الأول من بطولة أرامكو السعودية النسائية الدولية للجولف، المقدمة من صندوق الاستثمارات العامة الكثير من المفاجآت لنجمات البطولة اللواتي قدمن مستويات قوية في ظل التحديات الجوية؛ حيث وصلت سرعة الرياح 30 ميلًا في الساعة.
ومنذ بداية المنافسات، نجحت التايلاندية باتي تافاتاناكيت في تقديم نفسها كمرشحه أولى، بعد أن قدمت أداء مميزًا منذ الصباح الباكر وضعها في صدارة المشاركات.
وبهذه المناسبة، قالت: إنها فخورة بما قدمته خلال منافسات اليوم الأول للبطولة بالرغم من صعوبة الظروف وكثرة التحديات الناتجه عن سرعة الرياح وأضافت:”استمتعت كثيرًا وقدمت التزامًا كبيرًا في اللعب في محاولة لتقديم أفضل ما لدي.
وشهدت المنافسات كذلك ظهور الجنوب أفريقية باولا ريتو بشكل جيد من خلال المشاركة الأولي لها في نادي الرياض للجولف.
وقالت ريتو:”لقد منحت نفسي بعض الفرص الجيدة، والتزمت بخطوط الأهداف من نقطة الانطلاق إلى المنطقة الخضراء” حيث لعبت ضمن إستيراتيجية واضحه لمواجهة كل التحديات.
اما اللاعبة دان نيكول التي يعلق في ذهنها أنها لم تتأهل في بطولة في العام الماضي؛ بسبب التسجيل غير الصحيح في سلسلة أرامكو للفرق.
وعقب ختام المنافسات قالت:”أنا أستمتع باللعب في كافة الظروف حتى لو كانت الرياح قوية وأضافت:”أعتقد أنه يجب أن تلعب بطريقة هجومية في تسديد الكرات لتشق طريقك في هذه الظروف. وأنا أرى نفسي انني هاجمت بما فيه الكفاية وكانت بداية جيدة. ”
اما المصنفة الثامنة عالميا تشارلي هال، التي أنهت اليوم + 2، في حين أن الجولة الثابتة للأمريكية ليكسي تومسون ستبقيها على مسافة قريبة من لوحة المتصدرين في الوقت الحالي مع توقعات ان تبقى الرياح مسيطرة على الأجواء ليبقى ان يستمتع الجمهور بما ستقدمه البطلة السابقة جورجيا هال وميلي بيدرسن.
